Reviews for Botham’s in Toronto, ON
Excellent experience all the way around. Food was delicious, brought home donuts and scones that were amazing. Loved the music... too - actual albums from the 70s/80s. Waiter was on his own and service was still fabulous. Definitely recommend. Read more
Got the pepperoni and the eggplant pizzas as takeout. They were pretty good for the money. What I was shocked by was the lack of... service at this place. One of the servers acknowledged me after a couple of minutes of waiting but 2 guys were literally waitingto be seated for at least 10 minutes and neither of the servers said a word to them even though they were walking right pastthem. Finally one of the guys had to ask the server where they could sit. Sad thing is this type of service is unique to thisplace in Toronto. Read more
Our restaurant was closed for the night because of Rogers fail, these guys took care of my staff and I, and made us feel at... home. They hooked us up and turned a bad day into a great day, we are now going to be loyal regulars and always available toreturn their hospitality. Thank you Ben and team! We've come here a few times since moving to the neighbourhood, and each time enjoyed our visit. Service is always friendly, and... they have a great playlist. Good selection of craft beers on tap, great fish and chips, and some solid pizza. The two pizza for$25 deal they run early in the week is such a fantastic deal too. Go here! Read more
One of my favourite places on the west side and i am so happy they?re part of the junction constantly improving food/ drink... roster. Friendly staff and you must try the donuts. Best chocolate donuts I?ve ever had! They only make so many so get themearly. Pizzas are great. Fries was bit burnt the couple of times I was there. Will definitely go back without the kids so wecan try more of their 30 beers on tap. Read more
Soon after The Junction became our home, Botham?s became a steady presence in our lives. While lockdown restrictions limit their... ability to deliver on their full potential, we can say for certain that they?ve ?made the pivot? and are killing itnonetheless. The Sunday roast beef special is absolutely to-die-for. Generous servings of succulent, tender medium-rare roastbeef accompanied by a killer Yorkshire pudding, insanely delicious roasted potatoes, three kinds of roasted veggies and anabsolutely off-the-charts wine gravy (and always a surprise dessert) make this a steal of a deal at $60 (+HST). It?s worthnoting that the roasted potatoes were some of the best we?ve EVER had. They had this insanely crispy texture to them that wasoh so very addictive. We?re considering ordering just the potatoes and eating a whole tray. This has us very curious abouttheir Saturday fire roasted chicken dinner for $45. We?ve not had it yet, but we?re gonna - and we know it?s gonna begreat! Their wood-fired sourdough crust pizzas are some of the best we?ve had in Toronto. Great sauce, high quality toppingsand a perfectly fired sourdough crust keep us coming back for more. And the two for $25 special Mondays - Wednesdays alwaysmakes us feel like we?ve committed theft whenever we take those home! Because we?re trying to control ourselves these days wealways have leftover pizza for breakfast, and it?s equally delicious the next day (either at room temperature or gently warmedover). The pepperoni pizza has superb meat and cheese. Their Arugula and Cherry Tomato pizza with sundried tomatoes isamazingly fresh tasting and perfect for a Spring/Summer mid-day meal. On top of these hot dinner options they have a wellstocked, creatively curated and reasonably priced market. We?ve tried a number of the products and everything has been firstrate. Some highlights include: pre-prepared frozen pizza that?s ready to eat after 15 minutes in a 450F oven - way better thananything we?v Read more
Amazing spot! This place is from the good people who brought you Hole in the Wall, so you know their street cred is on point.... Similar style visually to the Hole but on a much larger scale. They have these cool little alcoves right by the front windowsthat are cozy as hell! At the back is an amazing open view of the kitchen and a massive pizza oven. Just like the Hole, thereare plenty of great food and drink options but I need to make special mention of the pizza. The pizza is the real deal. Rightthere in style and quality as the big names like Libretto and Defina. Trust me, you?re going to want to make this your pizzaplace. I absolutely will be back! Read more
One of those places that makes it so great to live in this neighbourhood!! Incredible staff (likely because the owner is such a... nice guy) and the best bagels outside of Montreal :)? probably shouldn?t write a review because I?d hate for them to be sold outevery day but somehow this morning at 9am I was wishing they were open so I could grab bagels for my sleeping family and felt Ihad to :)? Thanks for being such a great spot!!! Read more
