This is the original location of the restaurant from before it was a franchise and it certainly brings back memories of... university... The walls and bathroom door feature grease and dirt smudges carefully preserved from a decade ago. As a bonus, itmakes the floors look pretty clean. The prices have also been scaled up to make your adult income feel like a student budgetagain. The general feel is that the management had put the place on autopilot, waiting for the building to collapse before theyfix anything up. It's a pity because the burgers and onion rings were good. This is my favourite Burger place in Toronto because they make by far the best lettuce-wrap burgers. They put more lettuce... around it so you can actually hold it like a burger. I usually order the Craft Burger with Cheddar, it comes with mushrooms andGarlic Sauce. Really delicious. The customer service is also great. Read more

Traveling for work in Toronto I was looking for a unique Burger joint and the Big Smoke is certainly it. I walked about 45... minutes from the hotel and another 45 minutes back and it was totally worth it. Very friendly and polite service, relativelylarge portions, and tasty food. There aren't a lot of spots to sit. So it might be tough if it's busy. Read more
Small store with only 2-3 tables to sit inside, very congested. Burgers were over cooked and same goes for fries. Nothing... extraordinary and it was not a Big burger at all. I don't understand how this place gets so much positive feedback. My experience in this place was not pleasant. The burgers were... nothing special, I didn't finish my burger. It was not tasty at all. Atmosphere: dirty place with a lot of delivery men, thereare only 3 tiny tables in the room. I suppose this place works for delivery mostly. But I don't recommend visiting it. Read more
