If you can believe it, Banh Mi Boys popped onto the TO food scene a decade ago. Their myriad of affordable offerings include... banh mi, tacos, steamed bao and of course kimchi fries! It?s been years and the taste is as good as ever. Kimchi fries? servedwarm smothered under pulled pork, fresh kimchi, scallions, mayo. The huge box is huge as a perfect lunch fill-up or late nightsnack. Add jalapeño as I did if you like a bit of extra heat. The Boys? banh mi is nothing to scoff at either: it?s among thebest in the city! 5 spice pork belly is the most popular. This time, I opted for grilled pork. Its lemongrass flavour meldedperfectly with sweet pickled carrots, cilantro & spicy mayo in fresh baguette. Read more

The grilled chicken banh mi was tasty. Fries were meh. Having both with a drink was very affordable. My biggest complaint is the... cleanliness of the dine in tables. They were by far the uncleanest thing I've ever seen in a restaurant. The tables, theseating, and the floor had bread crumbs and food spills everywhere. It's like absolutely no one was checking up on them. Pleasedon't expect customers to clean up after other people.. Read more

Banh Mi Boys is a nice space for a quick casual bite if you want to sit down inside. Similarly, always a good option for takeout... as well. It's not too expensive for what you are getting - good value for money. The staff are really nice and friendly and theyare good at what they do. You may need to wait a bit depending on what you get because they make it fresh. The banh mi's arealways my go to. Really delicious. I loved the five spice pork belly banh mi (very tender and packed with meat) as well as thechicken one (really flavourful rich sauce/plenty of chicken) The ratio of bread to vegetables to meat on the banh mi isexcellent and the bread is fresh and delicious as well. Another great highlight was the kimchi fries! The combination ofvinegary, tangy kimchi, the more neutral rich fries, and the sauce they put on top just works! Really good and the portions arefair/worth it - I couldn't stop eating them even though I was already quite full. Read more

It's a popular spot for Banh-mi and Bao. I ordered a 5-spice pork belly Banh mi for $10 and a fried chicken steamed Bao for $5.... You can select the spice level as "medium" or "hot". The Banh mi was really nice. The taste was good. Also, they put somegenerous amount of meat. The Bao was bit average but maybe because I personally don't like the taste of it. The service is fast. You will get the order in around 10 minutes. The staff is nice and humble. Read more

More like 4.5 stars (too bad google doesn?t allow for half star). The kimchi fries are so good, really like the kalbi beef banh... mi as well, but it?s quite expensive for the amount of food that we are getting. Read more

Best place for quick and cheap Vietnamese sandwiches. Ordered the fried chicken and braised beef baos with the kimchi fries on... the side. I come here often and it never disappoints-food proportions, taste and service were great! Read more
