It was alright. The food was good without being fantastic. Portion size was great though! Service was ok, we had ordered one... dish of escargot to share but the server brought out two (benefit of doubt, it was a little loud inside so he might havemisheard). We tried the lamb and the prawn pasta, both were cooked well and tasty. At the price point however, I'd be just aswilling to try somewhere new as to return. The restaurant is also really small and the tables are quite close together so wecould easily hear pretty much every conversation in the restaurant which isn't necessarily a bad thing but if you're looking forsomething a little more intimate I'd go somewhere else. Every dish was superb. Artic Char cooked perfectly, excellent crab cakes, big enough to share. Veal tender. Specials were not... overpriced as they often are without you knowing it. Great service. Read more
Feb 14 2022 - Pre-Valentine's Day Special last night was outstanding. Happy Valentines Day Avant Gout! Service and food are... always fantastic, no matter how busy they are. Excellent food! Small cozy restaurant in a good location. The menu is very diverse. Many options of appetizers, saladas, pasta... and meet. They also have daily menus. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious! The price is fair and the service is good! Read more
The waiter was extremely rude!!! Both me and my friend do not drink alcohol so we asked for water instead of ordering wine, he... gave us a super rude face. When we were ready to order and asked him, he wasn't even looking at us and said "I am not ready" andwalked away. The restaurants was not even busy with only 3 tables occupied. We just couldn't stand him and since he walked away,so did we. I wonder why such nasty restaurant is still surviving! They don't deserve any customer at all!!! Read more
