Tried to come here to grab a quick bite to eat with my friends. I bought a sandwich. We were all sitting on the patio but a... female employee (she didn't identify who she was) told us we had to leave. We had all gone to Starbucks earlier so they justwanted to join me at the table while I ate my sandwich from Aroma. Obviously this employee was having a fuss over the Starbucksdrinks even though I was a paying customer. Security was surrounding us so we felt like we had no choice but to leave. Honestly the Americano was lovely. My issue was the service. I could tell the person taking my order lacked training and did not... have anyone with him. Even though I described the sandwich I still got a full breakfast. After catching the mistake and oncemore saying I wanted the croissant sandwich to a different employee, she sent be back to cash where he (original employee) wouldhelp me again. I was then charged another 5 dollars for a ?full? breakfast sandwich. I had to go so I prayed it was right...onlyto open the bag and find a giant rather disgusting( for me) cold egg sandwich. This probably could have been avoided withproper menu training and supervision on cash. It just honestly wrecked my morning and I am out roughly 16 bucks on a sandwich Ididn?t want. Read more
A bit over priced but it is tasty. I had the chicken caesar salad salad as well as a smoked salmon sandwich. The sandwich... wasn't anything amazing but the salad was delicious. My partner had an almond and regular croissant which were also prettygood. The service there is okay. They ask for peoples names but don't actually say the name properly. The customer service canbe worked on a little because when my partner originally asked about breakfast they were rudely told that wasn't possible. This is always a go to spot for quick coffee, right outside the Eglinton station. Quick service, like their ice latte. If only... they made similar good ice coffee, instead of giving ice n plain coffee and rest is DIY. Good seating outside for the summers Read more
My sister took me here and it was just so yummy! Just pasted the menu. The eggs are on the side. Anyhow highly recommend! Great... flavour combo. We sat outside. Yonge & Eg location Aroma Hash $13 Sauteed sweet potato, red pepper, portobello mushroom and redonion on arugula with two sunny-side-up eggs on toast, tzatziki, pure maple syrup, za'atar spice and lemon vinaigrette (add 260Cals). 510 Cals. **update: these ads have been removed. Thank you for caring and being inclusive of our commuinity*** This is my absolute... favorite Cafe and I go here almost every day! The coffee, breakfast and salads are very good. The atmosphere is great and thestaff is very friendly. The reason I'm giving it a 2 star is that unfortunately, today I noticed some invitation ads on thecounter for some religious events, something I had never seen the past few years, for any other types of community activities(please see pics). The owners should respect that our community is a colorful one and this may only be accepted if they do itfor all kinds of religious and community events. I am really really hoping this is a one time occurence, and that these postersare removed. Otherwise, supporting a particular type of religion will definitely make me NOT want to come to this store. The vibe is really nice! I ordered a salad and the portion was a lot bigger than I expected (compared to previous Aroma?s I?ve... been to). The staff are friendly and food comes out quick. Read more
