Reviews for Aria in Toronto, ON
Made a reservation to entertain some customers here. First great move, they actually called the day of to confirm the... reservation!! I cannot remember last time a restaurant did that. All of our appetizers and meals were spot on. This is anItalian restaurant that really knows what they are doing! Our server was Isreal. He was so kind and super funny! It was such apleasure to have him serve us. The owner came to say hi and we ended up having a great conversation with her. Such awonderfully lovely lady and she clearly cares about her customers. The whole experience here was so much more than we could haveever hoped for!! Our customers loved it, as did we. Highly, highly recommend this place for any visitors or locals! Read more

I went here for a private event. The food was delicious and they were able to make substitutions for my dairy intolerance. Super... happy with this meal! Read more
Amazing food but very pricey! We walked in for light appetizers and 2 cocktails, we didn't get to try their main course yet.... They make pretty decent cocktails too. Read more

Great decoration and ambience in the restaurant. Our server Vince was amazing and we really appreciated his honesty and enjoyed... him overall. Definitely more of an expensive place to eat, ranging from $80-150 per person depending on what main course yougot. Based on photos, was concerned that the pasta portion would be small… but when it came, I could barely finish theplate. The appetizers we ordered were mostly variations of bread, all were good and flavourful. Everyone’s pasta lookedamazing, mine was a seafood in red sauce that had lots of squid and shrimp— flavourful. Someone ordered a steak and thought itwas overly salted; the halibut was said to be very delicious but plate in all was too tart; gnocchi pasta was yummy. They alsohad red bull and expressos, was told the double expresso really hit the spot. Overall, great food with a more intimateambience. Washrooms in the building are fairly clean except for the fact that the water is yellow (but not the restaurant’sfault); need to ask your server for the code to get into the stalls. Expect to splurge here, would think it would be good fordates/girl dates/after work dinner. As an individual spent $94 total, ordering an appetizer, pasta and cocktail. You candefinitely find similar places at a lower price but was happy overall with my meal, service and experience. Read more
We had an excellent experience at Aria. The food was delicious and timely. The Kale salad and the duck gnocchi were fantastic... and so was the mushroom ravioli. They have a great cocktail list and a nice selection of wines by the glass. Great place to gobefore a sporting event. We literally walked out the door and into the arena. I highly recommend Aria and I look forward togoing back. Read more
Aria was a great Italian place in the south core of downtown Toronto. We came here for a date dinner and enjoyed the overall... experience immensely. Atmosphere: The restaurant is smaller inside than it looks outside, but it is quite elegant. In theevening, it is dimly lit, contrasting the light with the wooden design of the tables and the ceiling. You feel like you are inan upscale yet casual place in New York City. Drinks: The wine list is quite expansive, with bottles for every budget. Most ofthe wines are from Italy, and the staff are quite knowledgeable about the different wines. They can easily recommend pairings. We also had an opportunity to finish with an Amaro, selected by (I believe) one of the owners. Bitter, yet sweet with notes ofginger, and it was just perfect. Dinner: We started with the I Taglieri board, which included a selection of cheeses, curedmeats, bruschetta, figs, and olives. Accompanied by bread and high-quality olive oil, it was a great starter to share. For themain course, we chose sausage, mushroom risotto, and Filetti di Branzino. I think the risotto was tasty, but nothing outstandingthat I have not had anywhere else. It was a bit watery for my liking and could benefit from more flavour. On the other hand, theBranzino was on point: tender, delicious, and paired perfectly with scorched tomatoes and lightly prepared bitter rapini. It wastruly a delight. Finally, we finished with dessert, which was a chocolate hazelnut torta. It was succulent and highly textured:there was hardness, crunch, and softness to it all at once. A true delight from the chef. Service: As we sat, the service wasimpeccable. We felt we were treated with great care as all the staff tried to make our experience great and memorable. Everysingle person wished us a good night as we left the restaurant. I would very much recommend this experience. Finally, the Price:It was on the pricier end, but I would expect nothing less.
