The staff are very friendly with my 2 dogs. They offer water bowl for the dogs. You are definitely paying a premium price for... the view. Food is mediocre, and not much choice if you don’t eat carbohydrates. Beer is cold and have a good range to selectfrom. But that day they have 2-3 kinds out of stock. A bit disappointing. Come here for the beer, but don't come for the food. Kinda defeats the purpose of a Brewhouse. I ordered the "12hr smoked... brisket". It was the absolute worse brisket I've ever had. I even asked if the kitchen can slice me from the point (fatty part).But I guess the dish is set. Got a half slice from the point, and the rest was from the flat. They disguise the brisket with aton of mediocre BBQ sauce. All I could taste was the sauce. Brisket itself lacked flavor and smoke. Flat was so dry it felt likechewing beef jerky. That's not it. Our table all agreed their food was terrible. The pizza was soggy. Surprisingly coming outof a wood fired oven, you'd think it would be better. The kitchen definitely lacks skill. Take a look at the pizza pic. It hassome mismatched slices. Hopefully it wasn't left overs from other people's pies. Yikes! Hopefully Royal Unibrew will improvethis place. I loved the vibe and lake-view of this restaurant. A great place to enjoy during summer time while visiting Toronto. The... building has a great industrial look and it is spacious. A must try place in Toronto. A 12 hr brisket ! Ohhh my, so delicious if you like meat. A fish and chips was phenomenal add to... this the pairing beer, from their own microbrewery. Never had such a fast service before. The waiter was amazing, friendly andknowledgeable. The place from inside is welcoming and didn’t start with the outdoor and the spectacular view of the centerisland. The breeze of the lake is beautiful and you can smell the water, inside and out. Refreshing and so happy to be there.One of my very favourite places in TORONTO. Read more
Went here last week on a very warm day. We sat on the patio which was well shaded. They were unfortunately out of hard seltzer... so I tried a cider which I enjoyed. I had the bowl which was the vegan option and my friend has a chicken sandwich. I enjoyed mybowl a lot - there were so many vegetables! Service was okay - our waitress was switched right after we ordered. We went for alate lunch at 3:30 and did not need a reservation. Read more
Never disappoints!! Amazing food, good portions, a great selection of beer and other drinks, friendly staff, and a lovely... atmosphere - especially if you sit outside on the patio in the summers. (the wait is worth it) My favourites are the fishtacos, any of the pizzas & burgers, and the pink lemonade cocktail. Not much of a beer drinker myself but I've heard they have agood selection with options to sample. Read more
Cool place to hangout with friends and all.Beer variety is good and has unique taste. I liked the temperature at which beer was... tapped to glass. Neither too much chilled nor warm. Tried fish n chips and a burger. Both were very tasty and fresh too. Spaceis ample and service is also quick. The choice of music played was also nice. Ambience is very good. First time eating at the Amsterdam Brewhouse and I must say, even for a cautious patron during a pandemic, it was a fantastic... experience. Safety-wise they are still currently verifying both ID and vaccine QR codes while enforcing mask usage. Food andservice wise, our server was very helpful and the food was delicious. My two friends particularly enjoyed their beer flights,and the view from inside the restaurant was gorgeous (I can't wait to visit again in the summer and sit on the patio). Highlyrecommend!
