Had a terrible customer experience. The lady (seems like she is an owner and main cook) was very rude and arguing when I... mentioned that the customers should be informed before paying for an extra charge when paying with a debit card and spent 5 minstrying to get an actual receipt. She did not understand that transaction receipt is not an itemized receipt for the food. Thelady kep comparing me with her other customers and would go on and on. Read more

YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE. I have been living in the east end for over 6 years now and I only found out about Ams Pizza & Wings -... Appu Bistro a few weeks ago. Finally got to try it on Friday and OMG I am devastated I didn't know about this spot sooner! Wehad the butter chicken pizza, butter chicken pasta and hot wings and everything was unreal. The pizza blew our minds and we atethe entire large pizza - something we are never able to do but we couldnt stop eating. Portions are absolutely massive, amazingvalue, Appu should probably increase his prices for the portions and quality. Incredibly impressed, definitely Ams/Appu to ourlist of favourite takeout spots in Toronto. Best part, order your food, head over to Red Tape Brewery for a few pints and thenenjoy your food at the Brewery once it's ready with more beers! Read more

We've seen this place, heard about this place and read about this place, so we finally got around to trying it and it is now... going to be our go-to place! We ordered a chicken curry pizza and a Hawaiian and they were both fantastic. The pizza was freshand you can't beat the prices. Next time we ordering the eggplant curry pizza and exploring the rest of the menu. So happy tohave this place in the neighbourhood, I can't believe that we waited so long to order. Read more

Great local spot with a wide variety of choice. We had the pizza and wings and it was really good. Pizza had a good ratio of... sauce to toppings and the wings were huge (and saucy!) Will definitely be back to try the other offerings! Read more

To be honest, I was looking for St.Louis Wings for my football game night. But I wasn?t into 20min driving to St. Louis. So I... was looking for a local wing place and I found this one. I was a bit sceptical at the beginning, but I completely changed mymind as soon as I had a bite. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and 2 pounds of wings( 1 pound no sauce and other pound withhoney garlic). I seriously can tell everyone that this is the best local wing place and we will definitely come back formore. It is perfectly crispy and full of flavour. It is not the same level as St. Louis Wings in terms of choice of sauce,however this place can cheer up my football game night without any hesitation. Landed here by chance one rainy night when the place I was going to in high covid was closed. Haven't looked back. Great,... affordable, fresh pizza and wings every time I've ordered. Super nice family running the shop. I need to work my way throughthe rest of the menu as it looks amazing as well. Only place I'm getting pizza from the east end from now on. Read more

Best chicken wings ever! We're new to the area and stopped by under an hour before closing. We were politely greeted. Our wings... were made fresh. Instead of being just sauced after frying, the honey garlic sauce was heated in a pan (fresh garlic btw!) andwings were tossed in the hot pan. This made for wonderfully crisp wings, perfectly coated with glossy sauce that had littlecaramelized bits of garlic. They were still really crispy and hot after ~15 mins to get home. Even over an hour after eating,we kept saying to each other, "I can't get over how good those wings were." I really wasn't expecting anything special, butthese chicken wings were borderline magical. This place looks like a regular "hole-in-the-wall" takeout joint, but the carethey put into their cooking is clear. It's a nice little mom 'n' pop's place I'm all too happy to support.
