I went there on Friday because I heard the whistle dog was back for a limited time and I wanted one and the woman didn?t know... how to make it properly. The cheese wasn?t melted she just put it on the whistle dog hard and a hard piece of bacon was stuckin the hotdog. Plus it was lunchtime and only one person serving the counter. I have gone to that A&W for years and it?s theonly time I didn?t enjoy it plus the hotdog was cool. Read more
Horrible horrible horrible customer service. This was supposed to be a special treat for my kid?s 6th birthday. Out of all the... things in the food court, my kid settled on A&W. We ordered a ?buddy burger with cheese? kids meal. Waited around at the pick-upcounter for several minutes after placing order. They threw the order on the counter without notifying me. It had been there awhile before I realized it was ours. Opened the box and noticed the granola bar was missing (aka? the ?treat?). When I asked theemployees about the missing item I was told ?we don?t have any? ? no apology or attempt to compensate us in any way? theytreated me as though I was a nuisance for asking such a question. How can you charge someone full price when you are unable todeliver the entire product you advertise? Also the buddy burger came with ketchup only. It?s advertised as having ketchup,mustard and sautéed onions on it. My son barely choked it down. I have contacted A&W head office about this experience and amwaiting to hear back. I have never seen such type of rude behavior from employees at any other fast food restaurant. The 2 girls at the front remained... busy in phone and talking with each other and there was a line up. Also, they miss managed the order and took 20 minutes formaking it again, they even yell at customers if a customers show disappointment, extremely rude behavior I have ever seen fromany fast food restaurant. Tonight I ordered A & W food in Dufferin Mall. The cashier women talked rudly and loudly. She didn't respect to customers. My... job is same, I never ever behave with customers like this. I really didn't expect this. Read more
