For a fast food chain I am pretty blown away with this service! Wish I knew the employees name but the night shift at around... 10:30pm on July 4 was spectacular! I ordered a combo with a drink and I had my bike with me. Without even asking my servercarefully set up my bag and taped my drink down to a cup holder - got me a bag with handles to easily bike home with my meal!!!It was kind of busy too and they still took the time to make sure I was set. Hugely disappointed again by this location at 1496 queen Street West in Toronto. Last week at 7am they were cleaning the griddle... and wouldn't be serving breakfast for 45 minutes. Today even worse. Cashier was the cook. She didn't wash hands from taking cashto preparing food. The eggs were not fresh cracked as advertised. They were held in a warming tray. Joylesssandwiches. Contacted A&W on Facebook. They messaged that all are independently owned and manage their own customer servicecomplaints themselves. so corporate does nothing to hold them to the brand standards or promises. Hi, today in the afternoon i visited a&w parkdale and placed an order worth $60 approx, but even after waiting for 20 -25 mins... my order wasn?t ready so i just got a refund and left.I am a regular customer and was very disappointed to see how themanagement have kept the store understaffed in such a busy rush .The poor girls were going back n forth to give the bestpossible customer service but it was so tough for them to give away order faster.I mean 2 people are just not enough for serving10-15 people.Poor management on the part of whosoever is assigning such less staff. While I like A&W in general and their burgers are great... This one is definitely not clean. No TP in washroom, dirty, no paper... towels, and the top door hinge isn't there so the door won't close even if you try to force it. Cashier was not attentive tome, and he dug into the fries to put them into the deep fryer with his bare hands, where just before he was doing other things.Didn't wash his hands. Suggest they do a thorough cleaning and increase their cleaning standards. Read more
