Overall pretty good pizza and would come back here if we were already in the area. Pizza takes 15-20 mins to be ready and... seating is limited - when we visited it was outdoor balcony seating only, which had 4 seats and a small counter along thebalcony rails. Ordered the Detroit Red Top which was quite salty with all the pepperoni, next time would try toppings with morevaried flavours. One pizza is pretty substantial and can feed 2 people for a light dinner. Read more
First time ordering from this place and my boyfriend and I loved it! The crust on the side was crispy while the middle was light... and doughy. We ordered the half and half pizza (White Truffle and Meat Lovers) and the Classic Pepperoni they were all amazingbut hands down my favourite had to be the White Truffle, paired with the garlic dip 10/10! So so so sooooo good! He had the pepperoni deep dish, I had the cheese. We could have easily shared and paired it with a salad,... but we were pigs and regret non of it. The prices felt reasonable, especially compared to other popular Chicago style pizzajoints. We ordered in and have zero idea what the inside looks like or if service is good. Read more
Deep dish pizza meets New York pan pizza. Absolutely delicious, I ordered delivery half and half Detroit red top and Meat love,... plus the carrot cheesecake and dips. The crust on the pizza was thick but perfectly baked, fluffy and crispy. It would be theperfect portion for 2 IMO. The cheesecake was a carrot cake but better, if you love cream cheese icing and cheesecake this isthe cake for you. Garlic dip was a classic, scotch bonnet is spicy. Good spot to satisfy your craving for crispy, cheesey, Detroit style pizza. 8mile offers a nice variety of topping combinations... and pies are prepared with care. I ordered the "Meez Pie" which has one of my favourite topping combinations - pepperoni,jalapenos, and honey. Flavour was pretty good and the quality of ingredients was solid. I found the edges could be crispier andsauce ratio was lacking a bit, making the overall pizza a bit dry. There's many Detroit style pizza shops in the city now andwhile 8mile may not be the best I've had, you definitely can't go wrong for the price. Read more
