First time back at this spot since the pandemic, and 416 has not forgotten how to provide a wonderful night out! Delicious... eclectic small plates (the tofu is not to be missed), amazing attentive service (thanks John - you were awesome!) and urbanvibes (a bit loud and buzzy in the evening but not unmanageable). Great spot for a date! Read more

My partner Tom and I have been going to this place for about 6 years. Our experience at 416 Snack Bar has always been... exceptional. From the moment we walk in, the guys at the door are professional and friendly. The servers, bartenders, andmanagers are always accommodating and friendly. We respect all the workers there as they take the time to remember our sitting, food and beverage preferences and expectations, "Down to the T"! Now that is what you call "Service Excellence." They understandthe "Moments of Truth" in the restaurant industry! Kudos to all the bartenders for their hard work. If you pay attention, observe their performance, and you will see how amazing they can manage to keep up with the number of drinks with such speed andaccuracy. On top of that, they also take food orders, give excellent recommendations and share friendly conversations. Theservers are on point, efficient and friendly. They do their best to get the food and beverage on your table as fast as possible.Remind you that this place can be really busy, and as customers, we understand that we need to be patient andunderstanding. Not many customers get to meet the chefs at the "Back of House," and I had the opportunity to do this in thepast as I am a firm believer in appreciating the people behind the kitchen who work tirelessly to deliver delicious and creativefood that adds value to our dining experience. There's a reason why 416 Snack Bar is always busy. It has "magic" that creates aunique environment to bring people together to enjoy diverse food and drinks with a fantastic vibe! People come here to beentertained, and the team behind 416 Snack Bar has been doing a phenomenal job. We are thankful to the entire team, past andpresent, for their fantastic service and simply being good people! Thank you to Taylor, Shade, Jake, G, Abby, Mike, Jenny, Kate,Justin, Sveto, Shane, Angel, Daniel, Curtis, Kyle and many more. Bravo to Adrian and Dave, alongside Chef Gallagher, as the cr Read more

Found this place by chance and it really is a hidden gem! Firstly, everyone who works there are so friendly. The food came out... so quickly I couldn?t believe it, and it tasted amazing!! I tried the steak tartare (it was so good that I ordered another roundof these), argentinian BBQ, east coast cocktail oysters, steamed pork bun (also so good that I ordered more!) and a reubensandwich. Everything was fresh and delicious, highly recommend coming here. Read more

Great place for meeting with friends to share some food and experience some great drinks. Buddies and I spent the weekend in... Toronto and decided to try this place out on Sunday night since it was packed the Friday and Saturday. Needless to say we triedevery item on the menu and had nothing but good things to say about every dish. I think we all agreed it was our favourite spotfor food and drinks! Read more

"Korean fried chicken," $9 & the "Summer chopped hand salad," $6 were delicious ???? great late night snacks with drinks... an... awesome date night spot. Friendly service (a little slow) quite crowded but a lovely patio to make up for it. We did have towait in line before being seated, but well worth the wait. Can't wait to go again ???? Read more

Dim bar ambiance, with candles and some neon lights. It is an intimate space with limited seating. They have a large drink menu.... Service was great, and waiters were very attentive. Tapas style small plates, but loud and complex flavours. Especially lovedthe steak tartare, octo bravas, miso-mustard gyuniku, and squash fritters. Flavours and textures were all so different from eachother! The falafel doubledown was a mini burger but with falafel as the buns, which I found unique! The Korean fried chickenwas alright, but was served to us lukewarm and the sauce coating the chicken didn?t seem that special - the sauce was a bitgingery similar to the sauce coating the squash fritters, but wasn?t as flavourful. Nice ambience for a date. Portion sizes were perfect, great menu selection and variety of creative Asian fusion dishes on offer.... Highlights were definitely the fois gras, eggplant double down and the steak tartare! Thought the cocktail that was made for mewas a bit average. Overall would visit again and we found it easy to get a table as we went early (before 6). Read more

My bf and I always pass by this place and noticed is always so lit - thought we should give it a try which we did. I love the... vibe here and the food is pretty good. Oysters not too fresh but it wasn't bad. Other dishes were pretty good but do not wow me.And they only served classic cocktails and no menu for them which I think is lacking. Read more
