I picked up a lemon cake here to take a dessert to a dinner party. The ordering process was super easy, and the cake? It was... fantastic! Super moist and flavorful with just the right amount of lemon. Not too sweet or too tart, but just the rightbalance. The amount of frosting was just perfect and was amazing too. My guests couldn't stop raving about this cake. I'lldefinitely be back, the cakes are great for an everyday occasion and fancy enough for a special occasion. I was misinformed of my options for customizing my cake for my 2yo and thus unhappy with MY experience. I called and complained... about my cake. I was upset but respectful in expressing my frustrations. The young lady who took my original order answered thephone and apologized on her own behalf. The manager called me, apologized for my experience, and offered me a refund. Shesupported her employee. I admired that so I gave another star. Nevertheless, there was condescension (over cake!) during thewhole process of my experience. I will not apologize or redact from my experience. The cake wasn?t good TO ME. It?s myunderstanding that the cake (white chocolate raspberry) is supposed to be moist but mine was like a tres leches cake. It wasliterally laughable. I laughed. A lot.
