Overall, if you are looking for Indian food on the west side of town this is a great start. It is a comfortable size for dining... in with a patio when Kansas is just right. They also participate in meal delivery programs. I kept it simple and ordered thetandoori chicken to go. Not going to lie, I was a little bit disappointed in the serving size. But, I checked myself, this wasmore than enough food for one meal..maybe 2. If you like it spicy, just go ahead and order "hot". I ordered medium. For a personthat doesn't mind spicy food it left me wishing something spicier. Normally, this is not a problem. When I asked for a spicysauce just in case, the person taking the order looked slightly offended and said that wasn't an option! I am still not sure ifthere is any sauces to complement the food. Though I am not a huge rice eater, the seasoned rice was exceptional. It wasn't super busy, but I would suggest ordering online and picking up. I wasn't keeping a strict eye on the, clock, but I think it tookmore than 20 minutes to get my food. I was offered water whole I waited. It is kinda cool on to go orders you can get a plateand utensils. If I lived closer, I could see myself visiting often and trying different menu items since the price is okay, thehours allow me to get there for meals, and the service is good. We had a wonderful Sunday evening meal at the Indian Bistro. The employees were all friendly & kind. Our meals were spectacular,... I love Butter Chicken and it wasn't on the menu. I have known this hard working family since I moved to Topeka almost two decades ago. Making delicious food consistently is a... special art in my opinion and Latti (Owner/Chef) has mastered it. I am so glad to see this newly opened, family owned andoperated restaurant in this part of the town.
