Use to be good food. What happened? The salsa that came with the chops has changed. Extremely hot. When we asked for mild she... could only offer enchilada sauce. We will not go back. All of it was awful. That's too bad. We use to really like this place. Read more

The lunch Chimichanga with ground beef was very good. Prefer shredded beef, but they were out. The refried beans,... avacado/lettuce salad, Spanish rice, chips and salsa were also tasty. Husband enjoyed his lunch chicken fajitas, also. Saidthere was a good amount of chicken and peppers; sauce was good, too. We were there around 12:30 on a Wednesday and therestaurant was nearly full. Great service. Clean restaurant. Will certainly recommend to others and return. Read more

Saturday early afternoon for their lunch special. We got beef quesadilla fajitas, and it was phenomenal! Beware if you can't too... much salt/sodium, because it's well-seasoned... and I love it! We also got fried ice cream for dessert, but it wasn't thatgreat... They didn't have any chocolate chimis, which was too bad. We almost didn't come here because there were no cars... Noteven workers cars. We weren't sure if it was open, but a tuff in the door and we were invited in. Glad we stopped by, and we'llbe coming back! Read more

Delicious! And not as crowded and loud as some other authentic Mexican places in town. My Canadian husband was very impressed as... they don't have any authentic Mexican there. We will be back! Read more

Nothing special. Hard chips and loud music despite it the very small building. Had a spider web down onto our table, almost into... one of the tables margaritas. Told the server we wanted to split the check when she came to the table to get our cards and shevery clearly laughed as she walked away and charged the bill to the one card anyway despite giving her two. Had a different goto Mexican restaurant we frequented but figured we'd try here a couple times to see if it was any better. We have found thatwe'd rather just keep going to our previous place and drop this one off our map, not worth the $60 spent. Read more

My wife and I were a little hesitant because it was the fanciest on the outside. I believe Christian was our server and he was... terrific. The food we had was absolutely fantastic! It was a bit loud in there but the restaurant was packed. We would highlyrecommend El Ranchito to everyone! Read more

Didn't like their hard chips and their margarita was lacking! Busy, crowded, and music was way too loud! We were there on a... Friday night so maybe better during the week? Cheap hard salsa chips though! Would definitely not order a lime margaritathere again. Seemed to be made of more concentrate than any alcohol. I have enjoyed far better margaritas in any of the otherMexican can restaurants I have dined in. Read more

I used to live in Topeka back in my college days.... The area has exploded with new business... So I rate 5+ stars! Yes this... place does white cheese dip the RIGHT way. (As if I'm a professional chef) the family loved it. Ordering was easily doneonline and lightning fast it was ready. Short walk across the street from hotel.. Still hot when I got it back. Had fajita tacosalad and it was delicious! The kids loved their soft taco and the cheese dip...so winner winner Mask life was in effect. & Itwas posted at the door..+2 stars The crew got me a margarita as I waited for my order to finish up!!!! A generous amount ofchips came with our order. Ordered large cheese dip & had plenty to share. Their house salsa was flavor packed and the heatwas there!!!.. Yummo.
