Just about everything an old fashioned diner ought to be. The prices are fair, the good was terrific, the staff friendly and... helpful. It doesn't look like much of a place but I'm glad we dined here. I was recommended the Cook's Club sandwich withcoleslaw which hit the spot. I niblled on the kids' fries and chicken tenders - also good. Kids meals are served in a FordFairline 500 box which I found delightful. Order at the front and served to the table. Our waitress was very friendly. I leftwith a smile. If I were a local I would eat here often. Read more

I was wanting a open face roast beef and Cook's fit the bill. Coconut cream pie was delicious!
The pork tender sandwich is amazing! The service is quick and the prices are reasonable. You order at the counter as soon as... you walk in. The menu hangs on the wall. You're given a number and the food is brought to your table. I have not tried theirdesserts but they look delicious. Great local small business to support. Highly recommend! Great for families! OMG I think I just found the best diner in Topeka! Amazing tuna salad sandwich was so good I had to get another and share it... with my boyfriend. My boyfriend got the mashed potatoes and meatloaf and he said was the best meatloaf he's had in a very longtime. Privately and family-owned you can taste the homemade love that they pour into their food. No need to dress up, it's acasual atmosphere. As you walk in the food is listed to the left on the wall. straight to the cash and they bring it to yourtable. Soda is free refills. I am now officially a huge fan of this amazing Diner.
