I?ve been coming here all my life and the food has never disappointed me. It really brings back fond memories. However, every... time I see back into the kitchen, they are NEVER wearing hair nets or gloves. Most of the ladies have hair past their shouldersand are touching all the food and surfaces, and their faces, with their bare hands. This could get someone sick and or crosscontaminate. I?m really troubled and whether I?ll be going back. It?s a true shame. Read more

Cute cafe, good place to wait for EV charging. The stuffed animal table markers are a cute idea, but seem like they could get... germy. Maybe some plastic dinosaurs or rubber ducks that could be sanitized would be better. Read more
I only frequent this location on weekend evenings. It's rarely ever crowded and a reliable spot for great people watching and... live music. They always have a nice rotation of local artists. It's a cozy indoor spot to choose when it's raining or chillyoutside. A winter favorite. They have a staple wine list and are always rotating fun cocktails and of course coffee if you're afan of insomnia. They also serve great food and pastries. A local Topeka staple that is consistent. A definite step up from thehustle and bustle of the Wanamaker corridor and above average service compared to similar businesses. It's worth it to add toyour night out! A group of us got together here for lunch and to visit and catch-up. We used the private room, which was nice, but do be aware... there's a $25 charge for that. It's worth it if you have a large group and you all want to sit together and be able to talk withsome privacy. The food was very good, I think everyone was happy with what they got. Read more
Not very crowded at 8:30 on a Thursday morning. Order at the counter and they'll bring your food to you, using a stuffed animal... as your "table tent". The breakfast sandwich was delicious! I had egg, bacon and swiss on a croissant. The croissant was lightand buttery. Paired with a great dark-roast coffee, it was a wonderful breakfast. Read more
