First of all it's was right on the shoreline trails bike path which made for a great rest stop on our ten mile bike ride . You... are welcome to come from any distance .as that trail is great ..the wings ..ok ..my burger just ok ..my wifes fish fry wasdelicious ..so I would stick to the sea food on the menu as it is apparently what they do ...service was ..and again right onthe bike trail .... Stopped by on Saturday during a bike ride from Niagara Falls. Wasn't overly busy. Hostess was very rude - reliving her Motley... Crue glory days look :p If you're a cyclist, bypass this place. You'll get better service at 711. Hostess didn't want us tosit under the shaded area if we weren't ordering food. Like I said, it wasn't like it was overly busy. I said I'd order food,but my girlfriend wasn't hungry. Hostess said out loud to the waitress that only one will be ordering food. Did we look likealiens? Ordered a Corona, Coke and the BBQ Chicken bacon sandwich. Bacon wasn't edible... cooked to a crisp. Fries were allstuck together. Food other than that was tasty. To note, the waitress was super friendly. Blues music was enjoyable. Maybethe hostess could learn from the waitress how to smile and be friendly. Also, I noticed a local couple came in and sat at thetable beside us... and just ordered drinks. Seems they didn't get the attitude of the hostess. I've been there a few times over the years, but last night was exceptional! I was sad the Polish Platter was sold out, but it... turned out to be a good thing as I had the best pulled pork I've ever had in my life. Our server, Nick, was amazing. He wasattentive, courteous and funny. Great polka band, Buffalo Touch, topped off with perfect weather. All around a perfect night! Read more
My son-in-law picked this place and we're all so glad. It's right on the Niagara River, with views of Canada and Grand Island.... The parking is very limited and we grabbed the last spot despite it not being that busy. It was an exceptionally rainy July day,but no worries they have awnings to keep things dry. I had a mojito and they're supposed to be sweet, but mine wasn't. Theserver was great. I had seen reviews good & bad about them. We arrived way earlier than our reservation but since the weatherwas awful it wasn't a problem. They had a musician playing acoustic guitar and singing. He was very good! My s-i-l enjoyed hisbirthday lobster. I absolutely loved my breaded fish fry. I definitely want to go back, but I'm anxious about the parking on abeautiful sunny day. Read more
