If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went for first time this week. It was so ridiculously over priced for fruit... and the quality is terrible. Me and my wife only buy organic fruit and asked as they couldn?t verify if there fruit was evenorganic! After I left I noticed there was mold growing on one of the blueberries, I ignored discarded it but I couldn?t evenfinish eating the bowl because I was sick to my stomach cause it was way too sweet. I rather just eat a piece of fruit or justgo to a way better juice bar. To top it off the shake was disgusting it was all ice and tasted like salty ice chips. Save yourmoney and go to real juice bar. This place is amazing discovered it a few weeks back. Absolutely love their smoothies especially the green machine. So great I... can't wait to go back!! The quality of the ingredients are excellent but the end results vary. Got a s'more bowl last week and the base was the... consistency and taste of water, way too thin. Seems to me like they need employees that are older and more responsible than theteen girls they have now. My last 3 bowls were again watery and below my expectations. Ordered an oatmeal bowl that was stonecold. Maybe time to switch to Playa. Read more
Got 2 smoothies, Chocolate Explosion, for my daughter and I and they were full of ice. They tasted like chocolate ices not... smoothies. Also, the straws were too skinny. We couldn't even drink them. If we weren't going somewhere I would have broughtthem back. Very disappointed! Playa Bowls always has smooth and rich smoothies. I'm torn between 2 and 3 stars. Definitely overrated and pricey. I got The Goat on gluten free bread, which is an additional... charge, added beet chips and paid over $8. I had higher expectations. I wanted to try a bowl but couldn't get past the price.Guaranteed to leave hungry if you order anything on toast. Service was friendly. Establishment was clean. Cool concept butprices are too high.
