Tucked away off the street, this is a great place once you find it. Food was excellent. I had fish tacos that came with a bar... of fish (not fried). Cucumber margarita was another interesting drink. Seek this restaurant out. Well worth it. Read more
Took my Mom here for her 80th and we were very impressed. Our server was very energetic and knowledgeable about the offerings.... My Mom is Gluten-free and they had a number of great options. This restaurant is a really cute place. Parking sucks though it's really small with only one exit. Luckily we found street... parking. The food was really good but I have to agree with other reviewers I read up, on the portions are very small. Which Idon't mind small portions but the prices were a bit high. It really added up. The drinks were great over all I do recommend itbut I say keep it at a few drinks because the bill can get steep. Read more
The mexican food at Cascabel is excellent! The atmosphere of this restaurant is very pleasant and it seems like a hidden gem off... of the street. In the back they have a nice small waterfall wall which gives a relaxing ambience. We ordered the queso which wasvery good with the chips and salsa. The vegetarian enchilada was very tasty, and the sauce was delicious and a little sweet. Theside of fried plantains came with an interesting dipping sauce which is worth a try. The beans were a little basic, but theywere good quality. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner out or even a good date idea! Read more
So glad my sister recommend this place! First of all margarita choices are amazing they even have a bunch of special ones... seasonal fruits and whatnot. Specialty infused tequilas as well or on the special menu. This trip I got lobster tacos which wereamazing I will be back for for sure and the whole Branzino let me tell you wow wow wow one of the best ones I've ever had!Perfectly displayed super crispy skin comes with excited tortillas and this amazing salsa I couldn't get enough at everybody! Great comfortable place with warm welcoming service and great food. This place is a true gem and what I would consider an oasis... in a not so pretty part of town. The food is outstanding and a good value for the price. The tacos happy hour is really a decentvalue for high quality food. Everything on the menu is good. I liked this place so much we came back two times in the same day.Once for lunch and again for dinner. Yes, it's that good. The salsa is very tasty and the chips are nice and thick not the wimpythin ones you see in your run of the mill Mexican restaurants. The pork belly tacos are absolutely outstanding and worth a shoutout. They were served piping hot so eat them right away or they lose some of the magic. Read more
