Tony Packo?s is aways a reliable hometown favorite for us. Today however we tried something new, new for us anyways. The hot... roast beef sandwich, mashed potatoes & gravy. We went in hoping for the best, but realistically trying to keep our hopes down,as we?ve unfortunately had more than our share of roast beef that just wasn?t that great. So was a splendid surprise to findtheir roast beef sandwiches are tender & delicious, reminiscent of Toledo?s old favorite Red Wells Roast Beef sandwichesrestaurant (for those like us that fondly remember that iconic favorite restaurant). They?ve definitely come the closest toreplicating that delicious dish, and we enjoyed it immensely! Took a strudel home for dessert which is amazingly delicious also! Our waitress was really nice, attentive & friendly too. Thank you so much!! Read more

Unique restaurant featuring Hungarian delicacies including their famous "hot dog" (a homemade kielbasa type sausage in a bun... with chili, mustard and onions or you selections.) Their famous chili by the bowl. Yummy stuffed cabbage, paprika chicken, hamburgers, roast beef entree and more. Awesome service with a smile. While there, you'll be surrounded by a who's who offamous visitors who've put their John Hancock on a Packo's "bun." Hundreds adorn the walls. Read more

Service was fast and food was brought pretty quickly too. For our taste buds I would say, we didn't enjoy much. We ordered... hotdogs, it was quite an interesting style but I was surprised why the hot dog was cut in half. I wish it was full. We met afamily who really loves this food and they drive two hours often I get this food. So I would say try it out and see if it'ssomething you will enjoy it. It sure is pretty famous from what's their history has. Read more

After hearing so much about how great Tony Packo's was ... I was pretty disappointed. Half a wiener, not a quality wiener... either, skinny, overcooked and something you'd get from a cart vendor if it was really late in the day. Chili on the dog wasokay and Mac & Cheese very ordinary and just nothing special ... for a $12 wiener platter, I guess I'd expect a little better. The interior is dark and all the wiener buns are cool I guess. I really thought the wiener we'd would fill us up for the restof our ride east, but not to be. May not be the most popular rating, but this is an instance where the hype didn't meet theactual for me or my wife. I don't like picking on specific people, but the order taker lady, while probably told to be loud, was just "grating". Guess it isn't the place to go when you're on the road and need something to fill you up and not beannoyed. Sorry Packo's just not our day at your place. Read more

This was a trip to honor my dad who was a fan of MASH. the service was excellent and the food was amazing. And my server was... absolutely right- the ice cream on the apple strudel was some of the best I've ever had. Don't miss out on the dumplings! Read more

Tony, Packo's was a fantastic experience and if you're not familiar with the restaurant, it's famous for its skin on beef hot... dogs with chili and cheese. The food came out incredibly quick and filled us up pretty quickly. I think it was one of the betterrestaurants we've been to in the Ohio Toledo area. One thing to note is that there are tons of hot dog buns in cases which weresigned by famous people who visited the restaurant. You're going to spend more time looking at the hot dog buns than you areeating your meal. I'll certainly visit here again when I drive through the Toledo area. Read more

What a lovely Hungarian fare! Tony Packo's cafe is famous for their Hungarian style hotdog, but don't forget to try their... cabbage roll, which is really good! Their Hungarian chili is also great! It is also a historic site that started its businessalmost 80 years ago. Staffs are really friendly and the atmosphere is so lovely. And if you want some desert, try strudel! Read more
