Placed an online order for inside pickup. Upon arrival, the lobby doors were locked, so I went through the drive through. ... Waited 2 minutes at the speaker box with no response, so I proceeded to the pickup window. A woman employee with attitudescolded me for not waiting at the speaker box. I told her I came to pick up my online order but the entrance doors were locked. I gave her my name and she came back to tell me they were out of mild chicken and instructed me to drive to the parking lot. Idid so and waited in my car for over 20 minutes. During my waiting, someone inside the building unlocked the entrance doors. After 22 minutes passed, I went inside to try to get my order. Roughly 8 minutes later I finally get my order, go back to mycar and go home. My thoughts are as follow: 1. With a 35minute lead time between when I placed my order and the scheduledpickup time, there should have been plenty of time to ensure availability of mild chicken to fill my order rather than NOT,causing me just under 30 additional minutes wait time. 2. An employee having a bad day should keep their attitude to themselves,let alone not follow up with a customer in expediting their order. Yes, the chicken was tasty and good quality. The service Ireceived was not good at all. My experience will make me consider other dining options in the future. Read more
Supervisor/manager has lost control. Place looks like a dump @ 7pm. Chicken pieces, crumbs, and trash everywhere behind the... counter. Trash on floors. Looked like about 8 employees on duty/ in store but three outside smoking something, one eating,three shuffling around, one on drive thru and one on front counter. Watched a 14 piece two box combo tossed into the trash infront of me. Customer emphasized she ?doesn?t eat anything white? repeatedly and ?not wanting to cause trouble?. Maybe therepeated references were made for my benefit. I tried ordering #4 menu (tenders) and worker tried giving me a breast, wings,and thigh combo- told her to keep them. Good bye - no wonder order in front of me went into the trash. Put down the pipe untilafter work and just try to do your job. Sad. Picture below describes this location better than I can. Read more
Staff very rude. Shorted 2 pieces of chicken but charged full price for the meal I ordered. Mashed potatoes containers only... filled half way. Never had this type if bad service at any other Popeyes. Will not return and will not recommend to others. Iwill visit the other Popeyes in Michigan that is on exit 15 that provides excellent service and staff is friendly. Read more
Went to the drive thru last night around dinner time. So excited there was no line when I usually wait 45 minutes or more. Once... you're in line you're stuck at the Secor location. Quickly found out it was cash only. Ordered 3 piece tender meal. The tenderswere old, cold & rubbery, fries were even worse. I only ate the biscuit & trashed the rest. I give up on Popeyes cause theservice & quality of food is mud. She also had me sitting at the speaker to order way too long. One other person pulled up in drive through before me, they went fast. I ordered the 11 piece special and 2 orders or popcorn... shrimp! My sides were both Cajun Rice. They containers were barely a quarter filled and no sauce. I tried calling to no avail, the phone just hung up and no option to leave a voice-mail. I wish I'd read the reviews before going! Read more
Wanted to order the chicken sandwich. I was told they were not available, sold out. Decided to order 11 piece $24 mixed chicken... meal. When I got home I had 3 breast and 8 small wings. No drumsticks and no thighs. Was not told they weren't available. Mealcomes with 5 biscuits and I got 4. Also, the cashier attitude was nasty. Won't be back there. There are establishments whowant my business and cashiers with pleasant attitudes. Popeyes you can do better. Read more
Where to start? We had arrived before they opened at 10. I saw no one unlock the door, but after 10, we went inside. The lights... in the dining room hadn't been turned on. I go to the restroom and it literally smells like Toledo Zoo. Toilet paper issingle-ply and the cheapest at that. There is a urinal and a toilet in the men's restroom. There is an air hand dryer tosupplement the empty paper towel dispenser. The large screens behind the counter were turned off. I asked about them and wastold that the sign is wrong. The prices are off. If you want accurate pricing, go to the menu on the website, put in thislocation, and it will show you the prices before tax. A hassle. Prices were at least 50¢ low across the board. The manager hadone employee working with them. The manager was heard to say, "I'm the only one here to do anything." The chicken was greasy,more than one would expect from a fried chicken place. At least it tasted good and spicy. The Cajun fries were incredibly bland.The ketchup is made by idk who but it isn't Heinz's. I'm told, by guests with me, that the mashed potatoes and gravy aregarbage. I took one bite of the biscuit and I swear they have changed. They aren't as fluffy and flavorful as they had been. Atleast the ice was frozen from the soda fountain. I hadn't been into a Popeye's in many years. This same location being the lastone I had visited. I was disgusted with my meal then and swore not to go back. That was over 10 years ago so I thought maybethey got their stuff together. This was not the case. If you love the chicken there, I agree with you. It is delicious. Therest of the menu I can't speak of. The sides are horrible. The menu says that the mashed potatoes and gravy are 35 cal. There isNO way that is accurate. What the hell Popeye's? Read more
Don't eat here. I just finished puking and Mt stomach is messed up. They gave me mashed potatoes with raw meat. Wandering why it... was so chewy. They don't deserve one star. Called the restaurant and they didn't answer. They already ran out of biscuit, redbean and rice, and other items. Read more
