I loved the waffles with granola. It's filling but not heavy, the jam and strawberries worked well together. There is ample... street parking in the area, lots of natural light, and a pleasant staff with a clean open kitchen concept. I love black kite so much. It's such a modern but homey vibe. There's multiple seating options for different preferences,... including outdoor seating, couch chairs, stools, and traditional tables of 2 sizes. They've also just brought back their brunch.It's an amazing place to sit down with some food and a drink and get some work done on a computer. Read more
For coffee only. If you are hungry and want a meal find another place. The only food they had available was just some balls and... Bagels. I was moreso interested in the latte art but after 10+ minutes of waiting for my coffee it was served to me in a to gocup. Ended up going to IHOP and was given better service. If you need a place to sit and drink a cup of overpriced coffee. Hereyou are. None of the hot delicious meals featured on the menu tab is available and I guess it's just from old reviews. Park behind building (entrance off Delaware St)!! Google Directions take you to a lot on the side of building that belongs to... another local business. I had such a lovely experience here! On a grey day it was a nice cozy find. I had a winter spice orange latte with almond milk... and it was the perfect amount of spice and mildly sweet. I also was surprised to find they had gluten free and vegan options. Imyself bought the peanut butter chocolate bar and it was quite tasty! A little on the sweet side for me, but still amazing thatthey have these bars to offer. There's not much around the area, but a quiet place to hang out with friends or get some workdone. Read more
I moved back to Toledo, Ohio in 2015! I am SO upset with myself. That I never toke the time to check this place out. When my son... visits Toledo, Ohio. He makes sure he stops at this Café/Small restaurant. I went in to get something specific, what I wantedwas a seasonal item. I was told about the ? Bagel Ball bagel stuffed with cream cheese, roasted red peppers & scallions, withstrawberry mixed in? hands down DELICIOUS!!! Well worth the money. Trust me, this place is my go to for now on. One of Toledo?s best! Friendly Staff and Great Beverage and Food Options. Very creative indeed. I love the brunch options. Ample parking spacesand street parking available.
