My wife and I decided to get Breakfast here, this morning and was not disappointed, the place was very clean. The service was... very good and fast. Everyone that worked here was cheerfully performing their jobs, smiling and laughing with each other andthe customers, just put you in a good mood just being in there. This is how a resturants supposed to make you feel. The foodwas served fast and was out of this world good. I highly recommend The Waffle House in Mt.Airy NC. You will not bedisappointed. Read more
Usually enjoy eating here, however this time was a bit different. The only food we recieved that wasn't burnt were the waffles.... The hashbrowns, bacon, and toast were all crunchy at best and blackened at its worst (looking at you bacon). Waiter made hisusual rounds and with the common "how is everything" i replied with "a bit overcooked for my taste". Without any offer ofrectification, i continued to finish my meal to avoid any off the cuff comments. Again, usually a great place to eat, so notexactly sure what was going on this round. Read more
Went to Mount Airy location around 1130pm after work. Service was really good and friendly, food was excellent (for all types... of sit down, not just WH). Also extremely affordable! The minor complaint was it took a bit to order. If you are traveling I773rd shift and hungry, do not miss! Read more
Kendra!!! She is absolutely amazzzzzing. She runs this place like a well oiled machine. Barking orders fun to watch her in... action. Our order was served in about 8 minutes!!! All these employees seem to love what they are doing. Moving so fast andhappily bantering back and forth. Order was perfect. Thank you so much for the great food. Read more
Not allowed a take out box for ONE waffle to bring home for my three year old. The staff was nice and the service was good but... really all he wanted was to bring his waffle home. Thank you you but not anymore maybe yes maybe no. Read more
Initial impressions weren't great when one of the waitresses snapped at me that me I had to sit at the high bar because I was... alone. But I've had both hips replaced and a bad back, so I said I can't sit in the high chairs. But someone else quickly saidthey had a low bar I could sit at. Then the waiter I had was wonderful. Very nice and attentive. I received my food very fastand it was wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised because they were so busy. All in all, one of the best experiences I've had atwaffle house. I've never gotten bad breakfast or service from this Waffle House. They make it exactly how you like it if you let them know. I... recommend the All-Star breakfast or the cheese steak breakfast bowl. Read more
