Reviews for Wild Ocean Market in Titusville, FL
Drifted in, gazed around not a buying day for me, the dining area is nice, as are the goods offered. Folks are friendly. ... Definitely a great outside mural. Spotted two handicapped spots at the door. Went back 1 October, and friends of The Great Pumpkin had decorated, beware of the extra spooky Octopus. (Thank you Cynthia for this photo fun. ) Read more
Wild Ocean Seafood Market & Restaurant Titusville, FL- 4 Stars Growing up in Paradise (Florida's Space Coast), one of two... things will occur. You will either love fresh seafood or not. I happen to be of the first order and as such was looking forwardto my jaunt up the coast to Titusville as the name winking at me from my random name generator was Wild Ocean Seafood Market &Restaurant. Once inside the place, I almost had to step back out. It was certainly a fish market as the aroma of the Ocean'sbounty permeated every molecule in the place. Honestly, it was worse than a Saturday night on Deleon Ave. Thankfully, they dooffer online ordering and I did partake of that option before heading on up. This saved me a lot of time dealing with the odors.I'm not complaining, I get it's a fish market, but I did find it a bit overpowering. I placed an order for a tuna melt and somefish tacos online and they were packaged, hot and waiting upon my arrival. Kudos! I was surprised to come to the conclusion thatthe tuna in the tuna melt was straight out of a can, not the Atlantic, however; it was prepared properly and offered abundantflavor to my palate. The French Fries were amazingly outstanding. Fried to a delectable golden brown offering just the rightcrunch and warm softness inside...I could eat these all day. While the fish taco was made with blacked fish out of the case, itwas nothing to get excited about. Yes, it was fresh, tasty and properly prepared, albeit plain. The accompanying coleslaw wasexactly like every other coleslaw from a food service truck. It wasn't bad, it was fine, just nothing new. Unless you love deadfish smells, this place is for ordering online and dining outside. This place is fantastic! A local gem with an excellent selection of fresh and frozen seafood. Pre-made food like shrimp salad... and made to order food as well! Everything is very fresh and the service was outstanding. I couldn't decide between twodifferent sandwiches and the woman helping me let me try a sample of the shrimp salad. Very helpful and friendly. They alsohave plenty of fun seafood/ocean/beach themed gifts, books and more. Read more
Got the Friday fish meal special. Online menu states it comes with fish and fries. We have gotten it several times before and it... did. I guess they changed it because now it comes with a small bag of low fat chips. The fish was good but tiny and the lack offries were disappointing. Yes I could of ordered them separately but that's not the point. For $7.99 to get 3 tiny slivers offish and a tiny bag of chips was not worth it. I understand prices have gone up but fries are not gonna cause them to go broke. Read more
