Reviews for New York New York in Titusville, FL
Me and 2 friends ate lunch there 9/18/22. I had the club sandwich and my friends had the fried shrimp and fried cod. We all... loved what we got. The food was fresh and tasted great. The server was very nice as well. It sits directly on the water with agreat view of the Kennedy Space Center. It doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that fool you. A major plus isthat there is a tiki bar outside right on the water. When I'm back in the area I will definitely go back. Read more
Very good food and friendly staff they even stayed open to take care of us definitely appreciated that. I had the fish and chips... while my son and wife had the chopped steak and meatloaf both with mashed potatoes and gravy, doesn?t look spectacular from theoutside but once you get inside definitely a nice place. Definitely can?t judge a book by its cover. Thank you guys so very muchfor a delicious meal. Read more
New York New York Tiki Bar and Grille- South Titusville, FL- 4.5 Stars Local legend has it that one night, the owner of the... new hotel as well as a great deal of surrounding land, Henry Titus, challenged Capt. Clark Rice to the naming rights of theburgeoning metropolitan area originally called Sand Point. Mr. Titus' choice of weapons for this historical duel? A rousing gameof lethal dominoes! Well, OK. So it wasn't all that ?lethal? and the final score of this legendary game of tiles was lost intime, the outcome is not, thus, in 1873 the place was re-named Titusville. Why did I mention the naming myth of Titusville, youask? Well, I was in the neighborhood killing time between meals and thought a little local research would speed up the wait, besides, who doesn't find creation myths interesting? All that aside, it was time for my next meal and according to the genie inthe name generator, I was going to be dining at New York New York Tiki Bar and Grille. Well, now I'm sad I left my grass skirtat home, but somehow, I'll manage. After being seated and shown a menu, including their specials, Tom introduced himself as ourwaiter and I must say that right out of the gate, I thought he was a creep at first but he rallied late and became a Big Boy Top10 waiter. I put in an order for some Ropa Vieja, Braised Cabbage, and what the menu touted as ?homemade? Blueberry Cobbler anda juicy burger (medium rare) for my guest. It wasn't all that long before Tom was returning with our grub. After snapping a fewpictures (just look at that salad!), I eagerly dug into the spread before me. I found the Ropa Vieja (a Cuban-inspired stew)delectable the seasoning was spot on. The fresh pulled beef (read steak) tomatoes, peppers, onions and black beans blendedsuperbly over some deliciously seasoned yellow rice. The Braised Cabbage was spectacular. It was braised to perfection andserved with sauteed onions and real bacon bits. Extraordinary!! Once again, I ask you to turn your Read more
Had a great lunch Sunday while friends were visiting. Crunchy fish platter and Red Drum were great! Portions were good and the... view was awesome. Sat outside since the weather was perfect but the inside is nice and clean. I have been here twice now andhave really enjoyed it. Fried mushrooms and shrimp last visit were also very good. Read more
This restaurant provides good food but the river side bar is my favorite. The river views are tremendous, and until Covid, the... happy hour was fun and delightful. I hope they bring it back as it is expensive without. But to have a beer and fish bites isdelightful right on the river. Read more
Nice view of the river and VAB. Had overcooked crab cakes with a good sauce. Sweet potato fries were delightfully crispy! Cole... slaw was tasty with a lot of mayo. Low key bar, food can be hit or miss, good service. Read more
Why are people upset about being asked to put on a mask? I too was a little suspect about trying this place bout the views were... too amazing to pass up and I?m glad we didn?t. Service was a little suspect at first, but it was my fault. I walked in with asoda I had from my road trip. They ?guy? up front just said I couldn?t bring it in. Wasn?t the friendliest, but times arestrange. He gave us the option to sit in or out and of course we went outside. There is a tiki bar and benches outside. Remindedme of a few spots on the Colorado river so felt right at home. Crowd seemed like mostly locals but seemed nice enough. As othershave said, food is served in take out containers, but again, sigh of the times maybe or just easier to take food from kitchen totiki bar? Either way, I didn?t mind it. Food was pretty awesome too. Fresh unicorn fish, clam chowder, Mac n cheese were thestand outs for sure. Some of the best chowder I had with plenty of clams! Side salad, potato salad and home made chips were verygood too, just not stand out good. The tuna melt may be the only thing to pass on. Fine if you like onions, but GF does not soshe ate my fish and I had the tuna melt. It was ok, just had better. Finally the service outside was amazing. Very friendly andchecked on us plenty even though we encountered a quick downpour which caused them to clean and dry all the tables again. Theyalso had a bday party which made things even busier. All in all, very memorable and fun. Plan to return and get some drinkswhich seemed like a honest pour, if you know what I mean and enjoy the views which were a highlight as well. Read more
We found this restaurant while we searched for a spot to watch the rocket launch. Located just off US 1 on Indian River. Perfect... location. We had drinks at tiki bar followed by lunch after the launch. Don?t judge a book by its cover. Annah had gizzardswhich were the most tender we?ve ever eaten. Nancy had the huge cheese burger with grilled to perfection onions. I had shrimp.Good service great food. Read more
