My brother and I were visiting in your area Tuesday and your restaurant was recommended to us. We had the cat fish plates with... all the trimmings. Certainly good! The catfish was fried to perfection, but don't ignore the sides, either! Easily the best onion rings (think tempura battering)... I've had, and the white beans had me wanting more. Quick, attentive service but they made you feel like you could stay all dayif you wanted. Will definitely be back! Read more

Been going to Boyette's since the 1970s. It's a classic, time stands still, and the food is the perfect representation of an... old school catfish restaurant. The Reelfoot area today has really improved compared to the 80s and 90s when it was not in thebest of shape. Boyette's has been the rock and a constant for the area, always worth a visit. Read more

You definitely get large portions of food in a family style environment. Lots of grease in the standard sides that come with... most meals, French fries, onion rings, hush puppies, etc. Service for our table if 6 was lacking, and it wasn't busy. 2 personshad side salads that were to come out with their meals, those salads came out when the meals were almost complete. We took a ride from Lauderdale County to try their fish. We were not disappointed. The catfish filets are fried & seasoned to... perfection. The onion rings & hush puppies were great too.
