I had really high hopes for this eatery. I had a hankering for some soul food and after learning that Priscilla's were closed... for vacation I was left to read the reviews of other local restaurants. We'll this place has a rating of 4.6 so I thought thiswas the place. Upon entering the restaurant it was very clean, it was only one young lady working. So in my effort of trying topatronize more black businesses my Godmother and I decided to place an order. Now we asked the young lady if any of the her foodcomes from cans we were told that everything was freshly cooked in house. I ordered the baby back rips, with greens, mac &cheese and dressing. Now I know except how canned greens taste and the greens were definitely from cans with a strong vinegarand metallic taste. The dressing was mushy and under cooked, I received 3 rib bones and another tiny piece of meat without abone. I also purchased a slice of pound cake. I literally paid $27.00 for horrible canned food. These people are amazing. The food was beyond amazing. The owner is so welcoming. I wish I discovered this place sooner. It's... amazing how you can put so much flavor in even mac and cheese and green beans. Everyone give this place a try at least once. Youwon't be disappointed. Read more

Oh my goodness! Everything was so amazing. I got short ribs, sweet yams & mac and cheese. Everything tasted fresh and home... cooked. Generous portions, enough for two meals or a meal and a midnight snack. Definitely will come back again. What a hiddengem! Read more
Exceptional food and service! I personally ordered the pot roast, greens and macaroni one long work night, and it was the pick... me up I needed! I also recently used their catering services for a large corporate event and it was great! The food wasdelicious, the staff was friendly and everything was in order! On Point Cafe?s food has that touch of love feel to it! They don?t have a gigantic menu but just big enough for a place like... this. Their Reuben was pretty good as well as the specialty salad with chicken! The blueberry pound cake was amazing and I wasdangerously close to eating all of it that they had available! It?s not a huge place but has just enough room for a few tablesto eat there. The staff was awesome and they made my visit that much better. BEST decision I made was to go to On Point Cafe. Keep hearing good things and I know why now. Great and tasty food. Nice size... portions and seasoned all to complete perfection!
