Delicious!!! Owner is so sweet and wants you to enjoy your meal. I recommend the corn tortilla if you go, I had chicken tacos... and never had ones that tasted so good. I live in Orland and pass up a few other Mexican restaurants just to go there. Read more

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the ribeye steak taco dinner with avocado. I wish I could relive that eating experience... again. The staff was very courteous and hospitable. Mely's was absolutely busy when I arrived, and the owner was all over the place trying to keep customers satisfied. When she got... the chance to check on my take, she immediately apologized for the wait, which wasn't bad considering she was the server,waitress, bussed tables, rang out customers, handled the call in orders, and handled the customers that came in to place "to go"orders. She was a whirlwind of movement, and yet not one complaint from anyone in there. She was simply amazing! Now the foodwas flavorful, fresh, and great. Seeing I love tacos, I would've liked them to be a bit bigger, but the steak and shrimp wereseasoned so well, I didn't mind ordering more to get my fill. I got the steak burrito and it was very good! Steak wasn't overcooked, as they often are at Mexican restaurants. Great... tenderness that combined with the cheese and juices to really pop.
