Went here last Wednesday night 9/7, I got a drink and opened a tab so the bartender swiped my card to keep it open. Ended up... only getting 2 beers ,when I asked for my check she said she needed my card again to close out which I thought was weird sincethey already swiped it to keep it open (been here before never needed my card twice) but gave it to her anyway. Woke up the nextmorning to 2 different amount charges on my card. I also work in the industry so I know mistakes happen sometimes, I waited acouple days for it to go from pending to posted just in case the card was accidentally swiped on a different check but notfinalized, but both charges went through. Called Saturday and they said manager would be in Sunday and they would pass themessage so I could get a refund, flash forward today 9/16, no refund. Went in, manager wasn?t in again, so I just called my bankand disputed the charge there. Anyway, wouldn?t recommend this place, plenty other bars in the area you can go to and not haveyour money stolen from you. Read more

21+ ONLY BUT THEY DON?T HAVE SIGNAGE SAYING IT We went in and saw that the menu had several items, which is always a red flag.... The server gets our drinks (I order water) and asks if I?m 21. I?m 20 and honest about it, so I say I?m 20. Turns out JBO?Brien?s only serves guests 21+ because the owner doesn?t want to get licensed to serve minors, but there was no sign at thefront door or anywhere indicating that. We asked for other restaurant recommendations and the server suggested a restaurant outin Sherwood. Did they think I was trying to game the system and get a beer a few months before my 21st birthday? I was justtrying to have a meal with my mom and our family friend and I have no intentions of consuming any alcohol. Even when I do turn21, I certainly don?t plan on going to a pub that deceives guests and then waves them goodbye because of a policy they neverposted in the first place. Read more

I've been coming here with either my parents and their friends, or just me and my friends, and I've never seen anyone leave... unhappy. If you go for breakfast, I suggest the corned beef hash with a little Tobasco hot sauce, or just the other day I hadthe redneck benedict. It's two biscuits topped with a sausage patty and an egg cooked to your preference, then smothered incountry gravy. For lunch or dinner, the shepherds pie is a must, or the "Johnny's hot sister" burger or salad. They also make areally good Spanish coffee. Staff is always friendly and sometimes they've only got one person running the bar and waitingtables, so be patient if that's the case when you come in as they're a small business. John, the owner is a super nice guy, andhe's owned other bars before so he knows how to run it well. Read more

The first time I tried this place I was ignored by all the staff so I left. The second time I went for the prime rib special at... 5:30. Eventually i managed to get the attention of a server who then told me that the prime rib wasn't going to be ready foranother hour or longer so I left again to never go back. Read more

This place used to be a favorite... we've been in 3 times recently, once for breakfast and twice for dinner. They were... understaffed each visit, which is unfortunate for everyone, but we understand. The food was downright bad though. My husband andI both ordered the ribeye for dinner, both were well past the medium rare we requested, and the mashed potatoes were like wallplaster in consistency. Everything was cold. We got only one round of drinks, simply because the poor waitress was sooverwhelmed. She did her very best, but it was a really unpleasant 2 hour experience. Read more

This is a great little Irish pub. The highest compliment I can give it is that I wish it was closer to our house. The food is... really great. I mean, there is a smoker they wheel out to cook their own bbqed meats? what more do you want? The drinks remindme of when we were in Ireland. This place has a great, relaxed atmosphere, well above average food, and great staff. Two thumbsup! I?ll definitely be back the next time I?m on the area. Read more

UPDATE 5/2022: Still amazing food and great service. We eat here fairly frequently and have never had a bad meal. The Irish dip... sandwich is excellent. ORIGINAL: Still some of the best food in the greater Tigard area, the Irish dip was amazing. Great fishand chips. Stopped in for lunch and the service was fast and the food was tasty. Very large menu. I will return. Read more
