The Grande Stew (Brunswick stew over rice) was to die for. I ate it b4 I thought about a pic. I was I bit over zealous with my... ordering. So good, I'm eating 2 meals! I didn't know ribs could get so tender. Pork is perfect. Sweet, mild & hot barbeque sauces are... great! Great service. Family owned and operated for 26 years and the owner even took the time to ask me how I liked theBBQ. No reason to ever go to fast food when traveling I-75 by Tifton. My wife is from Tifton and we had ate at Pit Stop several times. We usually eat their BBQ and the best Brunswick Stew I ever... tasted. She told me about the steaks so we split the 16 oz Ribeye, Baked Potato and a nice house salad with the best Ranchdressing I ever tasted. Price was fair, place was clean and service was good. Been here a few times while traveling to FL. Always good, Nice size portions of traditional slow smoked BBQ, Ribs and pulled... pork had that nice smokey flavor, sauce is on the side as it should be, only negative was they don't use Brisket for their beef,seems to be a bottom round and taste like a regular roast beef, beans were some of the best I've had, overall a great experience Read more
