I google coffee and it brought me to this little cozy deli... I am often in this area for my son's baseball practice and as many... times as I have driven by and even gone to the pizzeria next door to it, I never knew this deli was here. Well, I am pleased toreport it is now my new favorite breakfast spot????. The prices are very reasonable considering the location & the price hikeeverywhere else. The owner & staff are SUPER NICE & WELCOMING! The food was also very good and I was very surprised to see howmany pancakes we received! My sandwich was perfectly cooked?? Very popular place. Good reasonably priced food. I am told that the Philly Cheese steak sandwich is the best in the Tampa area.... I don't eat them so I'll take my friends word for it. My Club Sub was pretty good. Beer and wine only. Read more
We came here on a weekday about 1pm. Was greeted by waitress for drinks. Put in our order then waited about 30 minutes for food.... Everything arrived hot and was very good. I've never had a" Philly" steak sandwich but I ordered one with mushrooms and onionswith cheese it was very good but I didn't see onions or mushrooms it was like a ground up liquid consistency that dripped outthe ends. It?s a solid cheesesteak 4.1 if I put it up against Philly?s heavyweights (Angelo?s, Curlys, Steve?s, JRP, Jim?s, etc) However I... won?t hold it against them. It?s a 4.8 on a Florida scale and definitely one of the better ones around maybe even the best in StPete! The Amoroso bread is nice and soft. The amount of meat is pretty decent, wish there was a tad more. The distribution ofcheese was even throughout each bite. The amount of cheese was good too, you won?t need extra cheese. I enjoyed the sandwich. Itook two halves and the consistency was there. I wish there was an option for Cooper sharp cheese as I feel it?s a smoother,less salty cheese than American white, and possibly an adaptation of toasted seeded rolls. Totally delicious, friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. Sorry about the photos because we ate it all so fast but they... definitely know Philly cheese steaks. I had the Philly Dilla which is a quesadilla with rib eye, cheese and an awesome seasoningand comes with sour cream, salsa and lettuce and tomato. Philly with homemade potato chips was delicious. This feels like a great local spot for Tierra Verde residents. The service was... great, prices reasonable and beer was cold and refreshing. I would recommend trying after a long day in the sun. Read more
