Just had the absolute worst experience at this restaurant. We have been coming to this restaurant for the past 13 years, but... will never come again. The waitress, her name was Liane was horrible and racist right to our faces. We came in with guests andwere treated so badly. The moment we walked in she started rolling her eyes and stating "I hate them". Just because someonewears the hijab and looks different from you doesn't mean you have the right to be racist. Really great crispy shrimp with breading and AMAZING Calamari without breading (the seasoning is just so good). Tartar sauce is... the bomb and so is the default pollock for the fish&chips-- no need to pay extra for halibut or anything. Just went for lunch at Joey seafood, and it was so good! Me and my partner shared the 3 for $16 appetizers (such a great price)... which got us the shrimp and lobster Mac and cheese, calamari, and mini fish tacos and we also got the 2 piece fish and chips.The fish tacos were to DIE for, so good, And the mac and cheese was super flavourful! Went on a Tuesday for the"all you can eat" special! Fish and chips were fresh and delicious! Great coleslaw too... Which is hard... to find these days. I tried the fried ice cream with caramel for dessert. It was decadent! Definately worth trying if you're intown. Read more
