We found this lovely authentic Mexican Food Restaurant on our way from South Padre Island TX to San Antonio TX. We had Beef and... Chicken fajitas smothered in bell pepper, mushrooms, onions, and melty cheese. They were so smoky with a little after burner ofheat. Not too spicy and so delicious! Server was attentive and friendly! She served the fajitas with a creamy green verde sauce,bean dip, salsa and crisp salty chips. We had ice cold glasses of beer with salt and lime, oh so good. Last time I stopped here was before they upgraded the building and it seems when they got the new look they lost their good food... and service. Lady on the phone was kinda rude and the breakfast tacos to go were tiny with store bought tortillas ???????? Read more

Food was good but, Service no good It was 9:40 pm while I was eating my Sunday dinner just now They swept right around my... family's table. Then began moping with some very strong fabulouso mop water. We couldn't even taste our food anymore! Only themop stuff When I went to the counter to pay the cashier asked if everything was good I didn't want to say anything but then sherather rudely asked "what does that mean?!" "What was wrong?" So I told her the taste of fabuloso (cleaning chemical) had ruinedmy supper. She very smartly said "But they JUST started mopping. They had already been at it and gone right around our table. Iunderstand they close at 10 and want to go home. But I pay for dinner and want good service. So besides ruining my dinner thecashier also treated me like I'm stupid. From the moment we walked in, got excited over bean and chorizo dip for chips along with salsa, complementary by the way.... Awesome portions, super fast service not gourmet, but very home cooked feel to it. Absolutely loved it, glad my beautifulfiancé chose the place. Super happy Read more

This was a good easy to find location right off the main road. Clean restaurant and friendly staff. I ordered the asada mini... tacos. The food here was hot and fresh with fast service. This restaurant offered great chips and salsa and iced tea. Also theprice was good. Read more

Food was really good. When i come through 3 rivers this is my stop

The food is good and service is great the only downfall is they tend to sweep and mop as the customers are eating. Two weekends... in a row we have stopped on our way home and both times the waitresses are mopping. First weekend one waitress slipped anddropped all the food she was carrying. This weekend they were mopping as we were walking in. Floor was slippery as we werewalking to our table. Once again the only negative issue I have is the sweeping and mopping as we are eating. Shouldn?t thatbe left until all customers are gone. All I can say is that?s a lawsuit waiting to happen. Read more
