Excellent dining experience. I had the Zander fish fry. Big portion and it was delicious. Tender and flakey with a light... breading and cooked perfectly. Had to make room for the apple strudel ? so good! We sat by the fireplace on a snowy day and theservice was awesome. Can?t wait to come back! Read more
I've not been a particular fan of German cuisine, but a few more visits here and I think I'll be a convert. Every dish I've had... was excellent and the atmosphere has a laid back authentic European feel. They must have the best beer selection in the northwoods, especially for those who like traditional styles. Read more
This is the second time we've been here while staying for a long weekend in Eagle River. We really enjoy the breakfast menu on... the weekend! The staffing seems a little light as the service was a little slow for our family with young kids, but it'scertainly not for lack of effort on the wait staffs' part. The breakfast food is hearty and there's a good deal of varietywithout the menu being overwhelmingly large. The German-themed potatoes are excellent! We'll certainly be back again withfamily! Great German food just like my grandmother used to make. Service was great as well. Highly recommend.
