Tucked into the beautifully restored Sacajawea Hotel, the Grill is posh and elegant. We shared the Brussels starter, my husband... relished rack of lamb with potato and crisp-cooked broccolini. It would have been wonderful had there been an equallyscrumptious vegetarian option. But still, I enjoyed a seasonal arugula salad with apple, pecans, bacon, and dried cranberries. Read more

Seriously? More than a 1 rating? A most over-rated, overpriced, pretentious "dining" experience. It's one thing to have no pices... on the menu -- quite another to charge $48 for three- scallops sitting on a bed of sauced rice accompanied by a handful ofsautéed cherry tomatoes. The ever-elusive "server", Nick, never brought us bread (we had to ask the bus girl), and delayeddelivery of our dessert for at least 20 minutes. Desserts were clearly commercial-grade. A sorry introduction to Butte,Montana. Read more

We have dined here numerous times over the years. It was worth the drive from Bozeman and Missoula. The quality of the food has... declined and the service certainly needs improvement. We were seated in close proximity to the bar. The water glasses were notrefilled and the waitress did not ask if wanted another drink. For the price of the food I expect much more attentive service. The food was ok, but not of the quality we have come to expect over the years. Definitely no longer worth the trip. Overall, very disappointed. Read more

Pompey's Grill is one of the few awesome and clean places left in the country. My spouse and I went for Thanksgiving and tried... both sides of the menu. The bartender was sweet, talkative, informative, and overall made our experience all the more enjoyable. This by far is one of my favorite places in Montana. The food was definetly something that you would expect from a 5 Michelinstar restaraunt. It is authentic, traditional, and nuanced. It is everything you would hope for. Thanks for the amazing food andawesome experience! Read more

One of the best dining experiences I?ve had in years. Everything was perfect- cocktails, soup, salad, steak and incredible... desserts. The filet special topped with local foraged mushrooms was the steak I?ve ever had. Read more

This was my favorite dining experience from my week long trip to Bozeman (and surrounding area). We arrived a little before they... opened but were accommodated by the host anyways. The decor was classic and beautiful, the service from Theodore was great, andthe food was prepared amazingly. I ordered a side salad, the Bison Short-rib Half Rack, and the toffee dessert option. All wereexcellent. The ribs were tender and trimmed nicely, the dessert was rich and satisfying. Everything was a great value as well.Definitely recommend anyone traveling in the Three Forks area to stop by and see the beautiful historic Sacajawea Hotel and stopin at Pompey's Grill for a dinner that won't disappoint!
