Had a nice midday breakfast. They were busy and it was Tuesday. Service was good and we got a nice window seat
Glad I decided to stop in, wanted some breakfast at lunch, and it did not disappoint. Had the big breakfast and everything was... cooked right. The baked goods are also impressive, and I ended up taking a couple cinnamon buns to go. In fact I enjoyed it somuch I came back the next day and had the Cubano panini. Ordered an ALT and a western sandwich. Told the wait would be 10-15 minutes and ended up waiting 30 minutes. Saw several staff... members standing around and chatting or restocking items. No explanation from staff about why the food was taking so long or anapology about the wait. Eggs take 5 minutes to cook and putting avocado, lettuce and tomato on bread takes about the same time.Food wasn?t worth the wait when it came. Wouldn?t come back! Read more
Went for breakfast today. It was very busy. Coffee was good. Ordered breakfast at 11:07am and it was delivered to our table at... Noon. 53 minutes for breakfast is not acceptable especially with a toddler. Breakfast itself was inedible. BURNT French toast.Hard poached eggs instead of soft poached; sunny side up instead over easy fried eggs. BURNT sausage which like the French toastwas inedible. Baked goods look good but if breakfast can?t be executed professionally then stop serving it. Read more
Was a great place to get some work done before a friend joined for breakfast & a visit! Appreciated the oat milk at the coffee... station. Bathrooms aren?t ideal and weren't stocked and it was first thing in the morning so be sure to check before you ?go?.Was very much a laidback pace so glad I wasn?t in a hurry at any point but everyone seemed happy with it so matched theclientele. Drove from Collingwood to try their baked goods. We bought a Apple pie which was delicious, cinnamon roll that also was very... good, a couple of Jamaican beef patties and a carrot cream cheese muffin. Everything was very good, I wish I was able to try thebigger cinnamon roll as they only had the small one left. Read more
Good sandwiches and cinnamon bun. Apple crumble was just okay, but it?s fresh and not overly sweet so it?s good.
We were driving through Thornbury and tried their scones, which turned out to be the best scones we have ever had! Soft, tasty,... with perfect amount so sweetness. Highly recommend their scones!! Read more
