This place in Thornbury is more reasonable reasonable that the other places. I?ve been here a few times now and tried multiple... dishes. I will say their salads are amongst my favourite here. Always fresh and very tasty. Service is also very friendly andquick. I continue to go here as if is my go to in Thornbury. Read more

Cool restaurant with lots of seating. Many little rooms to dine in. The portions were big and everyone seemed to enjoy... themselves. There weren't options for a vegan besides fries. That wasn't an issue because I didn't go expecting it. As a smalltown with tourism it could be something to consider. The servers were quick and friendly. Check! Read more

We enjoyed the patio on the sunny Saturday. Food was pretty good I'm not gonna lie. Service not so good. I just got a feeling we... were ignored a bit. Service wasn't friendly at all and that made us uncomfortable. No one asked if everything is ok with ourfood, no one noticed an empty beer glass and no one offered a refill. On the end just before I was going to order another drinkwe got the bill and the credit card machine on our table. So i guess that was signe for us to leave. Too bad they made us notwelcome, we really enjoyed that beautiful and peaceful area. I just want to share my experience, that doesn't mean it's not agood place. Maybe just our accent made them unfriendly. Read more

Just had the 2 piece schnitzel with roasted potatoes and veg. Cooked properly and not overdone. Wife had the chicken club which... was also great. Mushroom in cheese and spinach as an appetizer came out the same time as the meal. No biggie, was still verygood. Small error with regular fries vs sweet potatoes fries but no biggie. Overall for a small town the food here is very good.Compared to other places near by this place takes first place. Arrive before 6 as it gets busy on the patio. Bike the area thenstop on for a great bite. Will be back. Read more

Sat inside to begin as it was hot out and didn?t want to sit directly in the sun which turned out to be a mistake, spent the... first 10 minutes swatting flies and asked to be moved outside where it was not much better. We were seated beside the speakerof a man playing music in the patio, he was great, the speaker was a little too loud and the flies were even worse. Afterapproximately 30 mins of waiting, we were informed our appetizers were brought to the wrong table so they had to restart andwould be brought out with our meal. Mushroom caps and French onion soup were fantastic. Steak sandwich was drowning in thegarlic aioli (?) or some type of sauce which was not pleasant. Watermelon lemonade had salt around the rim, some of which got into the drink and ruined the taste which was great when it first came out. Waitress informed us that she would take the drinksoff our give us a discount for the appetizers not coming, however neither of our bills were altered, which I wouldn?t be upsetabout if I was never informed that it would be. Have been here before and had a pleasant experience, but this was a verydisappointing visit. Read more
