Placed an order on the app and arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes later. Immediately upon entering, I noticed a very large... order of 10-plus bags being prepared for a group and my first reaction was: Oh well this is just great! I will be waiting herefor who-knows-how-long it takes to serve such a large group. To my utter amazement, a gentleman appeared from nowhere, asked ifI was Jake, and handed me my order! This is top notch service worthy of recognition! Take note Tim Hortons; this is how it'sdone ?? ???? ????. Read more

Reliable enough. Though if you are unlucky they will serve you rather old stale bread, stale donuts etc etc.

Thompson has the distinct pleasure of offering the worst customer service of any McDonald's that I have visited across the... Country. I firmly believe it is because they have the "where else are you going to go" attitude...and sadly, they are not wrongon this approach. If you don't like the food or the service, too bad...the choices in Thompson are few, and this McDonald'sseems to know that they have the upper hand. My last experience provides a glimpse of what to expect: They couldn't get my orderright, and when I spoke to a Manager about this, she advised me that it was up to me to check the screen to ensure it wascorrect. They gave me the wrong sandwich afterwards, and then took it back to give to another customer, despite the fact that Ihad opened the box and looked at the sandwich. They offered no apologies for the lack of attention to service, instead turnedand walked away. The sandwiches were thrown together in what one could only assume was from a distance based on how poorly thesandwiches were assembled. It's truly disappointing to see a Corporate giant such as McDonald's accept that this is okay...andit's even more disappointing that the residents of Thompson also accept this poor level of service, because hey, where else areyou going to go? I work on a medivac crew coming off a night shift at 4am. The lady in the drive-through would not let us make 3 orders. There... was no one else in the drive-through. When I tried to add to another order she made things very difficult. Terrible service Read more

Went through drive through for a quick bite, they had us confirm order at twice at order screen due to the visual order... confirmation being broken, confirmed order at pay window, yet the second we pull up to receive our food they try handing uswrong items. When we mention this, with frustration as we have literally repeated our order out 5 times. They ask us to comeinside without giving us any of reciept or food. Once inside the front counter staff had no idea what was going on and thenstart getting super defensive that its not their fault when I'm getting more and more frustrated. I wasn't the only one withissues as not long after they started to correct my order another person came in with issues. Read more
