Wonderful place to eat, used to eat here frequently, however we moved to another town. We where in the area today and stopped... by, full dinner, including drinks $19. Steak and cheese was fresh, spaghetti was hearty and the wife loved it. Just like itused to be when we ate here so many times years ago. Disappointing after reading many 4-5 star reviews. Went there for the first time on a Thursday afternoon. Food was mediocre at... best. My guest had the 2 pork chops which were literally 1/4" thick and overcooked to dryness. Place was average oncleanliness. Some of the staff were attentive & friendly, but a few of the staff gave us the impression we were a bother to bethere. We were looking for a new, good family diner/cafe to frequent. We will not be frequenting Rosa Mae's cafe and don'tplan to ever go back. Many other family owned diners/cafes around that have way better food and value for the money. I don'tenjoy giving negative reviews, but strive to be truthful based on my experience. My dinner guest who never complains about arestaurant meal no matter how bad it is, did not enjoy his meal of dried, wafer thin pork chops. Great food, cheap prices and amazing people. We had food catered for a family event and couldn't be happier with the turn out.... Jimmy and his staff are so friendly and welcoming, I'm really glad we could give them our business. 10/10 would do again. Willcome back and definitely recommend you go to. I went to Rosa Mae?s last Saturday with my grandma. Usually whenever we eat here we love it! Well I am very disappointed in this... last visit and it will be our last time. A tip was left on the table in cash but yet I received an alert today that was muchhigher than what my meal was. An additional tip was added to my bill without my authorization. That is completely unacceptable!I Literally tipped in cash and an additional tip was added. I consider this theft and regardless of the amount you do not addextra to someone?s bill. You may not care but you definitely lost my business and that of my family and friends. Read more
I give Rosa Mae's 3.5 stars...not bad actually! And I'm a food critic lol First time eating Rosa Mae's. Nice staff. I wanted to... know if cornbread was sweet & was given a sample. I ordered grilled chicken with onions, mashed potatoes, & broccoli with aroll. Everything was delicious except the broccoli. It tasted like it was steamed in water only. Some places are definitely hit or miss and today, Rosa Maes was a miss!! Fettuccine looked AND tasted horrible!! Cabbage tasted... like it was cooked in trash. Just plain horrible!! More than likely won?t be returning!! Read more
This place is fantastic. Jimmy the owner is always friendly. The servers are always pleasant and efficient and the manager... deserves extra praise. She juggles multiple tasks with ease especially when the place gets busy. The food is always great. Themenu is solid and quite diverse (sandwiches, soups, salads, Italian items, vegetables, etc). I've had many of the items andnever been disappointed by any of them. Portions are big. Prices are fair. Service is always on point. Really all you can ask.They have a drive-thru for pickup. Now Smaller portions same cost. I won't eat here ever again. Twice I've eaten here twice. One of those times I became extremely... sick. This wasn't just a normal bug. Something was done. Because they kept making my order wrong and it's been taking back tothe kitchen 3 times, someone got mad with me or mad I was in they're establishment.
