I bought this coffee at Whole Foods grocery store. As you can see the roast is between light and medium, but in fact, in this... package, the roast is dark, as you see in the photo. Question to the owner, is your roaster really unable to distinguishbetween light roast from medium and dark? If the roaster over-roasted the coffee beans and instead of a light roast made itdark, then you don?t need to supply this coffee to a chain like Whole Foods, thereby deceiving customers. Read more

It provides a good shot of espresso and a decent mocha (what I ordered). But per the wife the cold brew was "smooth and very... delicious". So if cold brew is your thing this would be the place to go Read more

I stopped in randomly on a road trip and I?m a convert. First off, the coffee is amazing. I brought back 2 bags of Organic... Sumatra and it is now MY COFFEE. I?m getting ready to order online for shipment. Secondly, the staff is wonderful and friendly. They were helpful answering my questions and overall, just lovely people to talk with. I don?t know when I?ll be nearThomasville, GA again, but you better believe I?ll be stopping by Grassroots for another visit. Read more

The staff has been so unwelcoming and unfriendly the last 3 times I have been here. I stood at the counter waiting to order... while the girl at the register ignored us and had clearly seen us but continued to want to talk to her friend while facing us.Once she finally decided to take our order it seemed like we were an inconvenience and she didn?t say a word during the wholetransaction. We tipped anyways because that?s just what we do either way in hopes they at least appreciate that. Then to makethings worse, all 3 drinks we ordered were wrong but since we had already had a bad experience with service we just decided totake them and leave (I believe a frappe is supposed to have ice not be milk in liquid form, ice cubes would have been closeenough if they didn?t know how to make it) I used to love coming to this place but I don?t find it worth coming to anymore. Welive 2 1/2 hours away and make the effort to come here because sit was once enjoyable. Read more

The staff are awesome but they are under appreciated. They are the ones that make it happen, it?s a shame many staff are... leaving or have been fired after many years of loyal service. That tells me a lot about the executive leadership. Somethingneeds to change for the better. You can have the best coffee in the world but if you don?t treat the people right who keep thelights on for you then who cares, there?s always a Starbucks around the corner. Everyone deserves at least $15/hr. withbenefits, especially people in the human services. Owners take note. Read more

Very neat place. My fiancée got the seasonal peppermint mocha and she really enjoyed it. A lot of space to sit down and relax... or do work, as well as a little store off to the side that sells goods from local vendors. Love supporting local businesses thattake pride in their work and if you want coffee in Thomasville, this is the place. Read more
