Once but never again So we booked a 3 night stay for our anniversary. Overall it looked promising. What went wrong? 25/night for... the dog. A lot of places charge a dog fee but what?s weird is they don?t actually clean the room during your stay so it makes nosense to charge a dog fee per night if you?re not cleaning the room You want a bath towel to go to the spa? 10$ Another joke,you want your room cleaned? 35$ I mean what kind of hotel doesn?t include room cleaning? Because they don?t clean the roomseveryday the shower floor looks a mess. I think if you want to use the gym there is also an extra fee. The worst part though isboth restaurants. We had a package with meals included. We were convinced it was impossible to actually get hot food. Every mealwas cold every time. The one exception was our last dinner at the pub where we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. For the pricewe paid it was absolutely not worth it. Read more
It?s such an unique hotel ! Beautiful modern rooms, and amazing service! Everyone is super friendly! The restaurant is soo... great! If you guys do come here for a stay, I highly recommend the Tomahawk Grill!! If you?re a fan of salmon you won?t bedisappointed by the Atlantic salmon, and if you do enjoy yourself a delicious chicken, a lovely Mediterranean chicken will fillyou?re belly! It was delicious! Very good for all kind of trip Stayed with kids 9 and 12 years for 3 days. Enough activities for them. For longer being I am not... sure, but one week is OK. Read more
Best place to stay around Thetford mines. The rooms are clean, spatious and well fournished. The people at the réception very... profesionals, but a little bit too cold. A smile don't hurt nobody. The food in the restaurant is AMAZING. I've tasted themediteranen chicken and the puding chômeur , it was delicious for à very decent price. I will stay there every time when iwill be around. If there was a negative star rating I?d be giving hotel du Domaine a negative 3. Where do I begin, no one speaks English so... watch out they sold us a package with a lake view room when we arrived no lake view room was available I asked for the managerthey simply said that there website does not update, next we called for an early check in and arrived at 230 pm, forget about anearly check in they didn?t check us into our room until 5pm an hour later then the advertised 4pm , I asked for compensation ora drink ticket for the bar they said they don?t understand me, trust me this resort is the opposite of somewhere you want tovisit I tried giving this resort the Benefit of doubt but the list goes on and on , no music allowed no towels no room cleanson multiple day treated terribly due to the fact we are foreign. They charged us some 750 deposit for god knows what reason .Coffee maker leaked all over my clothes for some reason it just was broken had a 8 reservation for dinner at Le Greg waited 45mins to get a seat I don?t get The work ethic here. This hotel looks new, clean and modern online. 3 years ago we had dinner at Le Greg at this hotel while visiting our in laws and... it was incredible, both service and food. However, we just spent two nights here and I would not recommend, nor will wereturn. Upon check in we noticed the room was not cleaned to the very minimum standard we would expect from a mid priced hotel.The shower was covered in mold both old and new bacteria. The soap dish had a brand new packaged bar placed on top of a dirtytray, missing coffee cups,no toilet paper. When we left for the evening we let front desk know that we didn't have toilet paper,she grabbed a roll from under the desk, said nothing and we took it to our room . The decor, while trying to be sleek andmodern, they missed the mark. Its cold and stark and uninviting. Its uncomfortable, no rugs, floor is super loud and echoeswhile you walk. When checking out, the front desk personal never even asked how our stay was. Simy said " we have your payment,have a good day." Such a shame as the location is great for our twice a year visit with family. Read more
Nice location and view. Rooms are modern but quite stark and minimalist. Chairs are not overly comfy and could use side tables.... Beds, bedding and pillows are very nice. The bathroom door is a slider with a large gap - adequate but not overly private. Theusual environmental note about leaving towels on floor only if new ones are needed wasn't heeded since cleaning staff replacedall hanging towels as well - so what was the point? The only way to avoid all new towels was to forgo all cleaning, which meantno coffee replacement. Had to ask at front desk and was somewhat grudgingly given only 2 each day. Surely there could be abetter way to reduce hotel cleaning costs, help out the environment and still provide coffee? It was nice to have a small gym touse. We will most likely stay again. Read more
Definitely a 5 star hotel with a gym and a spa . Amazing views and good food
