Absolutely packed at one in afternoon, but they still had tables. Food was amazing and fast. Big portions even for the kids... meals. Waitress was super. The lady coordinating the floor was working here butt off and keeping front of house flowingsmoothly. But must importantly... MEATLOAF, awesome pie and hand dipped ice cream. I love this place! We were out showing property and decided we needed a treat. We decided to share a Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Curly Fries. ... They were good...then we shared a Turtle Cheesecake with Hot Fudge. It was really good. Sweet tea was good, not overly sweetlike a lot of places. Service was good. They were all very friendly...funny too. Loved the view of the lake. The food at Cookies is more than worth the drive we made from Bull Shoals and the service was even better! I had the walleye... which was a generous portion perfectly cooked. I think we met and chatted with most of the staff in the house who were allfriendly and fun. We had a great experience that was a welcome contrast to most restaurants since the pandemic which have beendisappointing in my experience. Go to Cookies and you won't be disappointed! Read more

We walked in on independence day weekend and had to buy a sweet t-shirt...they had a great selection, and hats too. We were... welcomed many times by all the friendly servers and were served quickly. All the servers who helped us were amazing. We triedthe popcorn shrimp, spicy chicken sandwich, grilled chicken club, and a burger. It was all fantastic and there was somethingabout the burger that just hit the spot. We live 45 minutes away and will be going back regularly. We come here every time we are in the area!!! It's close enough to Sunburst/Northfork, and near a few lodging places on Bull... Shoals. Great service and food was always delicious. AWESOME pancakes and great portions, even the omelets were loaded. Biscuitsand gravy was so good. GET DESERT my spouse loved the ice cream and the chocolate silk pie was great. I live 4 hours away andit's a diner I wish I had in my city. Overlooks Bull Shoals! Read more
My wife had the fried chicken which was fantastic and I had the walleye which was also delicious. However, we each had two... sides, dinner rolls, and she had a salad. All of those items were sub par. I appreciate that the main course is the star but thecostars need some work. The service was great - friendly, prompt, and helpful. However, we both walked out with a feeling of notbelonging. We got a lot of weird looks and we couldn't figure out why that would be except we are from the area. Read more
