They have staff issues. Our server was fantastic, but the other two people seemed fairly worthless. She carried all the tables,... and they sort of stood around. The gumbo was really good. The seafood salad (crab and shrimp) would have been great except therewas too much shell in the crab. Just about every bite of crab had some shell. The ingredients were good and the portion wasgenerous. Two of the salads, one bowl of gumbo and 2 diet cokes was $72 with tip. Read more

Do not waste your time with this place. Gave them plenty of chances thinking they could be having ‘off’ days. Their manager... is going to sink this place just with her attitude alone. She does not know what customer service is at all. She has an attitudeand if you don’t like it, there’s the door. Their food is subpar. We are on the gulf coast, why are your shrimp not freshgulf shrimp? Why are your mashed potatoes from a box? So overpriced and very small portions. If you’re going to pay theirprices, just go to the causeway or maybe somewhere on the island that serves fresh ingredients. They’re serving fast foodquality at high end prices. And God forbid they leave out a side, it’s your fault not theirs. Again if you don’t like it getout. I will never go there again and I will never recommend them to anyone ever. 3.75 Place was clean. Service was extremely slow, over an hour for royal reds and crab claws and my wife’s shrimp meal. Crab... Claws - $42 for a 1/2lb don’t mind paying it if you can eat all the meat of the claws. Good flavor but over done. $39 for apound of Royal Reds. All over done, all hard to peel again flavor was good just over cooked. Don’t mind paying for good foodbut my portion of the meal was not worth $70. My wife’s $42 meal was not memorable. Read more

absolutely the worst example of seafood i have ever been served. was there 2 weeks ago. old frozen shrimp mushy smelled bad.... crab why over cooked to the point of being dry. super nice young waitress girl. i felt bad for her. she needs a better placeto work. this place is not locale owner i can promise you that. i never take the time to leave a poor review of a place ionly tried once. but this place for the money charged to people is just wrong. and could likely make you sick as was my girlfriend for 24 hrs. go to Bayou La Batre 20 min from the island bayou seafood market. that place is amazing! fresh shrimp, wonderful fried oysters.
