This was our first visit to State Fare and we were pleasantly surprised with the food, atmosphere, and service. We didn’t have... a reservation for brunch but we were on the waitlist and they were able to seat us right away! The patio is dog friendly (abonus) and the owners/managers were walking around checking on guests. You can tell they are really making an effort to workthrough any new-restaurant kinks and provide exceptional service. It’s unfortunate that some reviewers are so quick to leave abad review when this place opened only a few months ago. Now for the food- the chicken and waffles (not on the menu butavailable for ordering at $17) was great, the waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the 6+ small/mediumchicken thighs were juicy, very very crispy, it came with a spicy maple syrup but they also have regular maple syrup ifrequested. I added 1 scrambled egg, that was plain- no seasoning which is what I prefer! My husband asked the server to choosesomething for him to eat and she chose the Be Someone Burrito. Let me tell you, the photo doesn’t do it justice. The burritois HUGE. Definitely splittable. It consisted of 6 eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns, and the burrito was smothered in(non-spicy) white queso- delicious!! We also ordered the Bloody Mary flight and my husband loved tasting each of those. Ourtotal bill for the items pictured was $52 before tax- for reference. Overall, the food presentation was nice, portions are big,the atmosphere was awesome and so cute, and our server, Kenya, had an awesome attitude! We will be back to try the other 37things that looked delicious on the menu! Enjoy! Read more

I thought this would be a super casual bar but it surprised as an upscale vibe without needing to be dressed up. Fun menu. I got... the sampler. Pimento cheese was fine and I wish the cheese was a little thicker. But the sausage had a great smoke and char, theDeviled eggs were cool. Brussel sprouts were freaking delicious! Read more

What a great menu of delicious food to choose from. We went for a late lunch and we were totally spoiled by Yvonne! She... advised us on cocktail choices and mocktails- the result was perfect for each of us! The starters were very tasty, although thejalapeño hush puppies were not spicy, but very flavorful. The homemade potato chips were very good, I though a bit of salt mayhave “popped” the flavor of the dip a bit. The fried chicken was very good - tender and flavorful, but to me the real starwas the super creamy cheesy potatoes and roasted cauliflower that the chicken sat on top of! A huge meal, but I’m lookingforward to heating up the leftovers!!! My hubby enjoyed his catfish and the fries. I sampled the fries and they were reallygood! We’ll keep this on the repeat list! I ordered the state fare breakfast. Note to gluten-free people: the huge biscuit it comes with is non exchangeable/unable to... substitute. The sausage was inedible as it was undercook inside/middle of the meat. My eggs were cooked to perfection anddelicious. The hash browns were just ok. Overall my meal was underwhelming. I’d come back for lunch/dinner to see if I have abetter meal experience. Read more

Wonderful place to eat! Good prices and great food. Jacob was awesome and did a great job taking care of us. We had the burger... and Birria grilled cheese. Both were amazing and had a great portion size. For an extra $2 we added dill pickle dip to the sideto have with fries and it was awesome! Highly recommended! Read more
