Treated my parents out since they've never been here before -- they loved the food. Their creamed spinach, siracha Brussel... sprouts, and loaded whipped potatoes were definitely more than enough for 4 people and tasty! Since we ordered the Shmorgishborg($275), it definitely served more than 4 and we were able to try so many different proteins. The lamb and the steaks wereflavorful and juicy. None of the food were dry or over cooked considering that all the meats came out at once. The mini crabcakes were crunchy on the outside but soft and tasty on the inside which I loved! We also tried their non-alcoholic cocktailswhich were all refreshing. So if you're not up for one of their wines in their extensive wine list, please do try thenon-alcoholic specialty drinks. Perry’s was my favorite restaurant, we haven’t been in two years or so because of pandemic. They have beautiful atmosphere... but if I’m honest, I miss the romantic booths that were very private, now they have an open concept. They do have a half boothsection in the middle but unfortunately we had to move because my husband kept getting bumped by servers. I was bummed that theyno longer had the bacon wrapped scallops but they replaced it with bacon wrapped shrimp. We didn’t try it, instead we tried anew seasonal item, turtle gumbo which was good. I love the Perry’s signature items like the pork chop and fried asparagus withlump crab. Unfortunately I found the pork chop to be dry. I normally only need to use the applesauce on one portion which isrecommended by the chef but tonight I used it on all of it even the “eyelash”. The asparagus was really good. My husbandenjoyed his food which was the lamb chops. After we asked for the ice cream with the nuts (it’s an amazing, table sidedessert) it’s no longer table side and it was super sweet and gummy instead of a nice thin, boiling hot caramel… the serverwas very kind and did an amazing job helping us and management was quick to rectify the “seat being bumped” situation it’snot their fault that the food was disappointing…needless to say it’s not the Perry’s it once was, maybe I’m nostalgicbut it’s no longer the place I want to go to for all of our special occasions. Absolutely amazing experience our waiter was so helpful and very personable. He definitely helped make the night one I'll never... forget. The pineapple ginger mojito he suggested was perfectly made. Every dish had my mouth watering and was satisfying fromstart to finish. This was the first time to Perry's. So glad we chose Perry's to celebrate my birthday and will definitely bevisiting again. I've been eating here for over 19 years. The food is always awesome and the service is excellent. Tonight I had the best... service ever at Perry's. For the first time ever I set in the bar area and Noemi was our waitress. She was amazing!!! She hadmany recommendations and none of them disappointed.
