Don't get me wrong, I love Jersey Mikes. The staff is usually good at this location and the food is great. My biggest complaint... probably shouldn't even be towards the restaurant, but towards corporate. It is this prices. I mean come on , a year and a halfago a giant original Italian was like $13.50 now its $21.50 to get it on Doordarshan. I understand inflation made everything goup but this is too much money for what you get. Read more

[Preface: I'm a trained chef and cook daily, so this might be a bit more judgmental than a review by a normal local yokle who... gets fast food all the time and doesn't know a thing about actually prepping, processing, cooking, and servingfoodstuffs.] This is my first ever Jersey Mike's Experience. I was bought a #95 sandwich. The meat and other inner ingredientstasted great, the condiments tasted amazing as well. There was a lot of both. Now the reason(s) for the missing 2.5 stars.Firstly; The bread was awful, it was a weak vessel for the amount of inner ingredients and even worse it was also mostlyflavourless and that along with the consistency, or lack thereof, gave it an overall cheap like bargin dollar store brand breadfeel. Secondly; the sandwich was much messier than any sub sandwich I've ever eaten, which has a lot to do with the poor bread.I'd probably go back for a salad or bowl version of the plentiful recipe variations, but staying very far away from the"homemade in-store daily" bread. Delicious cold sub sandwiches, but you have to get them "Mike's way". Which I have no idea what it is. In my opinion, it's a... blend of two different vinegar sauces and herbs. Which they saturate into your sandwich. It's delicious!! The only flaw I wouldsay they have... is that there's no Jersey Mike's near I live. So when I'm in the Woodlands and have the time. They sell Gluten Free subs!! Just tell them when you order. I asked to have my bun toasted and they took care to scrap off the... grill and made sure there wasn't any cross-contamination. Deli meat is sliced off the roll as you order, other ingredients arefresh and plentiful. You have to unlock your jaw to get your mouth around this huge sub. Enough options to not be overwhelming. Unlimited fountain drinks. Clean and not too loud or cold. A very pleasant experience for someone who always, and I meanalways has an issue with something.
