I wanted to have afternoon tea for my birthday in September and I placed a catering order with Hummingbird Tea Room. It was one... of the best afternoon teas I have ever had, everything tasted excellent and was presented absolutely beautifully. Nasim was apleasure to work with she even accommodated my custom requests. I will definitely be order from and going to the tea roomagain. 17/9/22 Update: I went for in person, nothing special but I guess that’s the problem. I ordered tea, a scone and asausage roll. The sausage roll was cold. When the person brought the tea, she brought no spoon milk or sugar. Instead she putthe tea on the table, and choose to spend the next 10 minutes taking pictures with the mother and daughter who interrupted herwhile she was serving me. You could have served me and then taken their photos but she rudely choose to leave the teapot anddidn’t even ask if I wanted anything, or look in my direction. She was more concerned with the mother who needed photo and whoclearly saw she was serving me, but could wait to seconds to ask, as is typically or overly entitled women, or certainnationalities. Hummingbird tea room was such a truly lovely experience! I took my 8 year old niece and 3 year old daughter to have an English... style high tea. The staff went above and beyond for a wonderful first time experience for them both. They customized the tiersand sides for both me as the adult and them as children giving them wonderful desserts and sandwiches that fit their developingpalettes. We had 2 different tea styles and lovely scones with clotted cream and jam. They were overall just warm and friendly.I had high expectations and they surpassed them! The food was unique, they had traditional tea sandwiches but added nice flavorsto give the food a more unique taste which I enjoyed. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great, authentic teaexperience. Come with plenty of time to enjoy the experience because they never rushed us and even went to say they love thatpeople have the time to reconnect. The tea service is out of this world. You have to order at least the day before and it is pricey, but so worth it. I love to go... for special occasions for tea! Read more

Loved it! Took my Husband here for Valentines Day. We will definitely be back. If you haven't tried it you're missing out!

The spinach/ricotta cheese pie was delicious as were the chocolate croissants!! The biggest issue was how long it took to... order... there were 4 women in front of us and we stood there at least 15 minutes waiting to order. You go for the ambiancedon't go there if you're in a hurry! Read more
