First off let me start by saying I am Jamaican and very biased about our food being the best in the Caribbean but I will say... that the food at this restaurant was tasty and amazing. So many flavors merged together in a way that I wasn?t expecting.Excellent service and very friendly staff. You must stop by to try the authentic Cuban food. My daughter and I even got to meettheir chef! We?ll definitely be back ???????????? Read more

Was recommended this place by a coworker, and very pleasantly surprised. It is quaint and has a home cooked vibe. The sandwiches... are fairly large, combined with a few pastries it easily feeds 2. The guava and cheese pastry is very good and I'd recommend asa dessert after the sandwich. They also have a variety of imported drinks (sodas and canned juices) that were interesting. Willbe back, great lunch spot. Read more

The food was mediacore. We can't argue the authenticity and the homemade and freshness of their food, however the taste wasn't... good missing flavor. Portions are medium don't go super hungry. Flan tasted very good balanced flavor. Read more

First time customers, definitely coming back. Delicious. Nice atmosphere. Smaller place, but well ran. We came around lunch... time, and the line stayed consistently to the door, but service went quickly so many tables went in and out quickly. Definitelyrecommend. Read more

Food is very tasty. It?s nice to have a different latin culture other than Tex Mex in the Woodlands. I thinks is too new to... provide a true rating. However, they need to be better at customer service which is very important in any kind of business. While waiting for our food outside, one of the workers just standing around, came to tell us to come pick up our food. Wouldn?tit been a nice gesture to bring it to our table since he was just standing there doing absolutely nothing? Also, the system ofordering and paying at the cashier is fine, it just needs some coordination to work a little faster. I would come back at somepoint, but I will give them some time to work out the kinks. Read more

We had the Media Noche sandwich (slow roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickle, on sweet Cuban bread) and the Pechgua de Pollo a... la plancha (chicken cutlet with grilled onions, rice and black beans, and yuca. We also ordered the guava and cream pastry, beefpastry, Cuban triple shot coffee, and tres leche. (The pastries were long gone before I thought to take a picture). I hadoriginally ordered the tamales but they ran out so I switched to the chicken. Oh wow! I have no words to describe the flavorscaptured in this meal. This is simply authentic home cook Cuban food. So good! I don?t know what magic was drizzled on top ofthe yuca but I simply could not get enough!!!! An older Cuban gentleman (also a customer) stopped by our table on his way outto ask what we thought about the food and coffee. It was clear he loved the place and enjoyed the taste of home. Even thoughthe restaurant was packed, service was good and everyone wanted customers to have a quality experience. This is a locally ownedMom and Pop restaurant and you need to value it as such. If you are looking for an experience and a change from the run of themill food then this is for you. If you are looking for fast-food style service then you need to go somewhere else. They justhad the grand opening on 9/23/22, so it is packed most of the time, BUT so worth the wait! I will most certainly be back. Yum!!! Read more

Excellent! I haven't had this good since I left Chicago area Cuban eateries. And just as good as Miami's. Pastelito's are just... as I remember from my childhood (with a twist - powdered sugar sprinkle on top). They are opening a brick and mortar restaurantsometime this month (August 2021). I'll be a regular, even driving in from Spring it won't be a hardship. Looking forward toextended hours too. I've sent all my family and friends here and recommend it to those wanting a sample of Cuban Sandwich andpastelito de guayaba (guava pastry). Read more
