This is no way close to a deli. The pricing is very high. I would pass on this one. The reason for two stars is that the service... is excellent. It however does not make up for the poor food and high prices. Read more

First, the good stuff. The lake Sumter location has added a bar and remodeled. Very nice. Service was fast, friendly and top... notch. Food was very good. I got the pastrami corned beef on rye. Wife got the matzo ball soup. With that said, I paid $14.99for the sandwich. Deli restaurants are my favorites. I giant corned beef sandwich piled high on a rye is my favorite. But thisisn?t a Deli sandwich. This is half of a deli sandwich disguised as a full deli sandwich. Toojays takes a few slices of cornedbeef and pastrami and rolls it up to look like a deli sandwich. It was a good $8 sandwich. So, soup, sandwich, two glasses ofwine?$50 with tip. Read more

The hot pastrami on rye, best available locally. The staff was prompt, orders were correct, food that was supposed to be hot was... hot (that doesn't always happen in a chain deli) they are completely handicap accessible and willing to accommodate people withdisabilities. If you have diabetes they can get you a carb count so your sugar doesn't spike. Read more

Dinner for a party of eight started with surprisingly prompt seating, due to only 30% of the seats taken. In more than 10 yrs... visiting this restaurant I never saw such a thin crowd. Perhaps the reason was our experience: Very good wait staff service, but almost an hour wait for our dinners! One of the waitresses admitted that only ONE cook was working that night. As all ofthe food was served at one time, many of the dishes had been waiting in the kitchen. My sandwich was soggy and the french friespositively limp. Several others complained of lukewarm and even cold dishes. Still, some of the plates were found to be tastyeven if room temperature. What a disappointment for what had been a 4-1/2 star destination. Suggestion to management: If thekitchen is slow, provide complimentary appetizers or bread and give a larger group the option of receiving food as available. Read more

Food was great! Had the chicken sandwich with fries and potatoes cakes. Came with applesauce and sour cream. Tea was fresh.... Triple chocolate cake was a little too much chocolate for me. Service was good too. Read more

Ryan was excellent! The manager Mark was excellent. Doreen was excellent. Delicious food. Clean establishment. Second... Visit! Today September 30th, 2021 I went with a group of my gal friends to have lunch. They were extremely busy because TooJaysis amazing. Their food is delicious y'all, no joke. The only problem I had was my server. She said her name was Daisy when Iasked her for her name. She was darker than I am and was not too tall but was not short in height. I believe she was nottruthful about her name. She was not personable or friendly. She was a bit aggressive with the way she set our drinks down. Shewas very dismissive and in a bad mood. I get it, it's packed and you're in a bad mood. Don't take that out on us. We are thereto eat and have a great time. I didn't appreciate that at all. I messaged the website to inform them and I didn't notice theycalled me will I got home. That was excellent from the management aspect. I just ask that employees treat paying customersbetter regardless of how busy they are. Read more
